  1. I've been saying this for a while (though maybe not on here), but the National League Central must be the "ugly girl" that nobody wants to take to the dance.
  2. Good catch... http://www.jms2k.com/junk/Hill_vs_cubs.jpg
  3. The good news is that I need a save and a few K's for my fantasy team, and Saito is on my fantasy team...
  4. can someone tell me why Kendall is catching still? If blanco or soto are behind the plate, there's a less likely chance that furcal steals 2nd...
  5. can Soriano bail us out again? Nobody else seems to want to do their dang jobs.
  6. He apparently apologized to the catcher before his next AB. most likely because yost or another teammate told him to quit acting like an a-hole Oh most defininitely...they showed Yost giving Braun a "stern talking to" in the dugout before giving him an attaboy pat. Braun apologized to the catcher his next AB. But I don't think it's any less sincere than Zambrano's apology to the fans that I'm sure was just as "forced". I missed it... what did Braun do?
  7. the bad news in st. louis is that there's no strike zone... at least on my gameday of their game.
  8. Soriano sucks... he swung at ball 4. dang it. FIRE PERRY!
  9. Glad to see Im not alone in my thinking. Yep cuz its his fault this gem will be wasted. 2 runs over 7 with the wind blowing out in Wrigley? Pretty good day. It is but Lou should know his pitchers by now, and you could tell Jason was starting to get the ball up, which is when trouble follows for him The pitch Loney hit for a double was down and away... I thought it was a good pitch actually.
  10. all marquis had to do was throw a shut out and he wins... is that so hard to do?!
  11. that same pitch that hit pierre has been called a strike before...
  12. Ive noticed the samething for a while now..while it would be nice to hit inside pitches where he's at now which is like 18 feet off the plate.hes not gonig to get any.He is not going to hit anything outside because hes so damn far..he needs to move in closer I remember that being Sosa's problem for a while too... after he got beaned in the noggin, he moved back from the plate quite a ways. Think Lee is "afraid" to scoot back in after getting hit by Young?
  13. am I crazy in thinking that DLee needs to move about 1' closer to the plate? Every pitcher throws the ball in the exact same spot to him... down and away.
  14. so apparently St. Louis is getting all this rain and I live 40 minutes north east of st. louis and we haven't gotten a good rain since June... It looked like the flood gates were going to open up here over lunch, but those clouds have moved along. My grass is all dead, punks!
  15. I'm sticking to my guns and saying that it is the more strict testing for amphetamines. The whole league is feeling the effect of it, but who plays the most day games (when the amphetamines are most useful)?
  16. At first, I thought Bo Hart was joining the team... so you're not alone! Alright, who's Fuld?? some dude.
  17. I was just about to post him... .343 .391 .465 .856
  18. At first, I thought Bo Hart was joining the team... so you're not alone!
  19. Todd Hundley anyone?
  20. According to his wiki page, he's known to be quite overrated... (although somebody removed my lovely addition!!!!)
  21. Sorry, I was playing the role of ESPN analyst... I think Jeter is the 2nd best SS on the Yankees right now.
