    I could see it. I mean, some highschoolers play in front of more fans than he did down in florida. that's got to be the exact opposite of motivating. It takes a lot of motivation to eat 7 square meals a day.

    Lieber pitches like he did tyhe other day it will be a lock. With the statements from Marquis, though Lou seems to have brushed it off, I think Jim might be quietly shopping this potential clubhouse mess. The nice part about this pitching staff is that we have tons of trade bait. As the saying goes you can never have enough arms, but once Hendry hit his peak with the Pittsburgh trade I don't have much faith in his ability to deal mediocre talent. Maybe we can get Trachsel back.

    It was getting so annoying for me that now when they struggle against left-handers I just laugh, just as if they were getting blowed out and I lost all interest. Maybe Hendry will get some more left-handed hitting to correct the problem.

    Lets restrain ourselves from overreacting here, like Lou may be doing himself. I saw this coming when he was being interviewed by Len & Bob when he mentioned he didn't have a couple weeks worth of time maybe a couple days. Hes not gonna push those with injury issues to the brink of reinjury, hes just a stressed out manager right now. I believe its a little easier with us sitting at home typing on a message board compared to the man who is supposed to lead the Cubs to a championship. Hes gonna push the regulars a little more than they should be and I'm sure he will back off, I haven't seem him do anything crazy enough to not trust him yet.

    I can't add much to what the commie said, just that I agree with this sentiment 100%.

    Imagine some of the incredible young stars we could have in this league if not for Bakers influence. We're all participating in the bystander effect right now, we see this bad thing happening yet we just don't help. Dusty is going to set that organization back another 3 years.

    Lloyd is a good low risk to take, provides some depth and some competition. It definitely looks to me like JA thinks we can get by on the skill position players we have...He seems to be scraping the barrel for some depth and planning on using the draft for the offensive line with a DT, S, and a project QB thrown in. Or maybe he will surprise us and go with a QB in the 2nd...I do however think hes gonna give Benson another chance as the starter. I am 90% certain we are drafting our starting RT at 14...
