He should win it this year. I can't imagine anyone's been better. It'll go to Wright. It probably will, but it shouldn't. Aram is a way better fielder. Amen to that. Gold glove goes based on reputation alone, and A-Ram will never be able to change his.

Not getting on base after being up 3-0 is slightly less annoying than giving up a hit up 0-2. Only slightly, though.

Eh, I'd just say if you can't pull off sarcasm well enough to make it apparent to others you shouldn't use it. It takes away the point when you put a little "sarcasm alert." It's a trivial issue either way, I'm not bothered.

Looked at Wilson's contract......absolutely terrible. Another 2.3 this year, 6.5 in 2008, 7.25 in 2009, and 600 K buyout in 2010. All for a slick fielding, no-hit SS. Sounds like something Hendry would be in love with.

I think the Cubs really need another starter and I expect them to acquire one. The problem is, I doubt whoever they get will be very good, and the worst starter currently in our rotation is just about guaranteed to keep his spot.

There have been disagreements by "experts" and people here about the availability of Dontrelle Willis. Just for a minute, let's pretend he's going to be shopped at the deadline. First of all, would you want him? Second of all, what would it take to get him? A lot of teams would obviously be interested, the Cubs might be one of them. The Marlins desperately need a center fielder (as indicated by their pursuit of Jacque), and they might want a starter to replace Willis. What would they say to a deal centered around Felix Pie and Marshall/Hill? I'm not advocating this deal by any means, I'm just asking what you think the Marlins would do. If they took it, should we do it? If they didn't want a package like that, what would it take to get Dontrelle, either by us or by someone else?
