  1. He's had a decent to great OBP every year since 2001. He's been horrible this year which worries me, but otherwise what's to hate about him. He's also had absolutely no power. That said, I'm pretty neutral on this deal. I don't know much about Blevins, but a friend told me he's really not as valuable of an asset as his numbers would indicate. Kendall, even at his current production, is an upgrade. At his production the few years before this one? He'd by a massive upgrade.
  2. Can anyone give a good report about Kendall's defense?
  3. All of a sudden, Rich is getting hit all kinds of hard. We'd be in trouble if this wasn't the Giants.
  4. The only question is which team will have two. I'm worried.
  5. Brenly is ripping into Hill for that one, rightfully so.
  6. Gah. If we could only take advantage of the walks he's trying to give us.
  7. I don't know if I buy it or not, simply because Z's not signed.
  8. For some mid level prospects? Sure. Especially if he replaced Marquis.
  9. Jeeze, Lincecum is going full count on just about every batter and is managing to strike out just about all of them.
  10. Rich doesn't look as good this inning. Hopefully he gets his good stuff back.
  11. If we can't keep someone that wants to stay here so badly, I'll be pretty bummed.
  12. That was Theriot. I think we get the lead runner at 2nd on sacrifice attempts more than anyone in the league. I dunno about that, but I will say I think we threw it into the outfield on that play more than anyone in the league last year.
  13. I would too if I was a 48th round pick out of HS and I knew I had potential. Eh, not really the way to look at it. He was only a 48th round pick because everyone and their mother knew he was going to college.
  14. Man, if that's the only hit of the day, I'll be perturbed.
  15. Lincecum was drafted by the Cubs but decided to go to college. Ouch.
