    Thank God we didn't get Zito. Even though I'm not expecting much, I'm always excited to see new Cubs make their debut and Kendall is no exception. Hopefully he returns to being the OBP machine he's been for so long. Don't suck Cubs!

    Don't feel the least bit bad for Hill. He pitched well, but he deserves to lose for letting Pedro Feliz do so much damage.

    He's had a decent to great OBP every year since 2001. He's been horrible this year which worries me, but otherwise what's to hate about him. Because his OPS is lower than ARam's SLG this year. He's publicly said he doesn't try to hit for power, so for several years he's been pretty much a guarantee of a sub .700 OPS. His body is broken down from catching all these years and previous injuries, and there's nothing to get excited about defensively. This is exactly like the Cesar Izturis trade, exactly. Except we're not giving up anything particularally significant. Not saying Kendall is good or anything, but we're not giving up Maddux.
