  1. Another really stupid walk in a series that has been filled with really stupid walks.
  2. How are we making these incredibly impatient Giants hitters get ahead in the count so damn much? Marmol's do for a bad outing, I hope this isn't it.
  3. I donno about that atleast in this situation I think it has more to do with Zito being good than Soriano struggling. Following that AB, Soriano is a career 5 of 39 against Zito. Ya that doesn't surprise me Zito seems like the type of Pitcher Soriano would struggle against. I don't believe the whole leadoff notion, I was just throwing it out there.
  4. Could there possibly be something to Soriano not being able to hit anywhere but leadoff? He's looked bad just about his entire stay in either the 3rd or 5th slots.
  5. Vizquel makes that play 999 times out of 1000.
  6. honestly...time for a mass suicide. who's with me? I'm actually constructing a doomsday device. No one will have a choice.
  7. Brewers take the lead. Ouch.
  8. Yeah, he mentioned that he really can't handle any kind of hop. Especially from Soriano.
  9. That was a pretty tough hop w/o moving out of position. Hops aren't easy with a catcher's glove. A major league catcher has to make that play, and the vast majority of them would. I'm going to give Kendall the benefit of the doubt and say that that was the 1 out of 100 instance that he doesn't make that play.
  10. We just really want to let Pedro Feliz on base as much as possible.
  11. He's at 73 pitches now, so hopefully he can only go a max of 7 innings. I can't believe that at all. I figured he was at a lot less. He's made this look pretty dang easy.
  12. And the Brewers have tied it. What a fun night so far.
  13. This doesn't look to be our game until Zito gets out. The offense looks trashy, Marshall looks bad, and Zito looks excellent.
  14. Jumping to the gun just a little bit there Tomy? Oh, I'm not giving up. I just feel "not as good." I still think we'll make the playoffs with a little luck, but there's losing, and then there's losing because your new catcher who is apparently here to be an upgrade botches a play like that. I still feel we're a good team, I just don't feel good. You'll feel better when kendall starts hitting. That's incredibly not comforting.
  15. He was warming up at one point on Sunday, and I think that's the closest he's come to getting some playing time.

  17. Hm. Well, I already hate Kendall. And all the positive feelings I had about this team have been sucked out.
  18. As usual, I hate the crowd. And our lineup seems to be the cure to whatever is is that ales Barry Zito.
  19. Oh, and it is worth mentioning that, like Rich Hill walking Pedro Feliz last night, it is inexcusable to walk Omar Vizquel to lead off an inning.
  20. Those intangibles really are helping out now. Isn't catching an intangible?
  21. It was a tough hop, but one that Koyie Hill, Rob Bowen, or Geovany Soto probably would've handled.
