It's been confirmed for a while. Muskat first said they were coming back a few months ago. Bleh. At least, we don't have Nomar or Grudz anymore. That looked really, REALLY stupid. Not as stupid as PIERRE would look on the back of a jersey this year. I have a Nomar Cubs jersey with the name. That does make it a little bit crowded. :D

Vance, have checked into what the prevailing weather conditions will be like? January in Chicago can be brutal. You may want to ask some of the NSBB members if they will lend you some clothing. As a resident of Louisiana you may not own anything suitable. :P :wink: Seriously, I wish I could go too.

on one part of my bookshelves I have, both "Juiced" and "Game of Shadows", both of which I have read. Next to it is an older tell all book, "Ball Four"; that one created it's own furor "back in the day". So some of our "heroes" have sinned. Sigh. It was ever thus. Who knows where this is going to end? Nothing surprises me any more. How do we know who is telling the truth? Well those two reporters who wrote "Shadows" decided to go to jail rather than reveal their sources. They must feel that they had the truth. So we move on. Now we are in the "clean" era. But there are times when I wish Cendeno et. al. would take some performance enhancing drugs; at least different drugs than what Hendry and Baker have been smoking these pst four years. -
