Even Extra Innings decided to ignore this game, even though others have gotten rained out. So I am following on XM. However, up in Boston it's 1-0 Red Sox in the top of the 8th. It's also starting to rain there. What's the over/under on pages for this thread? I'll take the under.

So how high up on the pitcher abuse scale does Mulder rate? I guess it's possible that more than one organization has made the same errors as the Cubs. I just didn't think it would be the Cardinals. here's a thought: do you suppose the Cardinals wish they had old Matty Mo back? :)

I will watch out of respect for Zambrano. I will also take Pepcid AC before the game so that the inevitable shot of that person standing in the dugout doesn't lead to nausea. Anyone else going to bother? By the way Fred, you did an excellent job of reporting the game last night. Too bad the outcome wasn't different.
