Not to derail the thread, and I'm sure you've answered this elsewhere, but why hasn't Dierker managed at all in the last 5 years? I know about the seizure and brain surgery in, what, '99? 2000? But didn't he manage the Astros for another year or two after that? Why'd he stop managing after 2001? Or to put it another way, why is nobody hiring him? According to this, it may be Dierker's choice: Dierker has a blog which you can find here.

I used to live in Oklahoma, and I know exactly where Fred is! In Sayre, just about anything would be wortheless on a Friday. :lol: Meh. On the TV thing, if it isn't on WGN, the Atlanta site shows it's on Turner South. So if your cable system has WTBS, they might have the game. Except that you would have to listen to Chip...... :P :wink:
