  1. LSU OC Gary Crowton is reportedly going to be Maryland's new OC.
  2. Seattle Seahawks QB coach Jedd Fisch is going to be Miami's new offensive coordinator. He was recently the University of Minnesota's offensive coordinator.
  3. Yeah not a high demand at all. Everyone is assuming we move on to next week and hoping its at Soldier Field against GB. Hope the team doesn't have the same feelings about the game. They've got a few pairs of seats now on Ticketmaster in the 400 level corners.
  4. Norm Chow is expected to become the OC of Utah.
  5. You can buy corner 400 level seats on StubHub for pretty much what you'd have to pay on Ticketmaster. I think there are also a few singles on Ticketmaster.
  6. Liuget officially is in, as well.
  7. Michigan has put out a press release saying that Brady Hoke is their new coach.
  8. It is rather hard to unite the fan base around a coaching vacancy.
  9. LSU AD just said "I am pleased to announce that Les Miles will remain the head coach at LSU." It's January 11th and Michigan has yet to interview its next head coach. Signing day is 3 weeks from tomorrow.
  10. Jordy Hultberg is saying that Les Miles will stay at LSU. Presumably his agent had to hold him back kicking and screaming while Brandon and the other Michigan officials got back on their plane without him. Free Press is confirming that report.
  11. Petersen announced he's staying at Boise State.
  12. Is this players who have signed a LOI? Not for Stanford, no. Those are verbal commitments.
  13. A couple of quick notes from Joe Schad: -LSU might be willing to lower or waive the buyout for Les Miles -Chris Petersen to Stanford is now highly unlikely per sources
  14. Iowa State has been in SEC territory when it comes to the number of recruits they actually sign: http://oversigning.com/testing/index.php/recruiting-numbers/
  15. And Jacquizz Rodgers is going to the NFL, as well.
  16. Damn, that's shady and in a gray ethical area. The term "student-athlete" is a bad joke with the NCAA. Which is why Northwestern fans do not like Harbaugh at all. Telling the admissions office not to get back to a kid is a dick move, particularly when everyone involved knows that they qualify. He has left a lot of kids hanging who pretty much had to figure out that he's no longer interested in them on their own. He has dominated west coast recruiting over Northwestern, but there have also been a fair number of decommits that we've been able to land. To Harbaugh's credit, the "shotgun" approach has worked really well for Stanford. I don't think it would have worked indefinitely, though. At least he wasn't letting kids start classes before telling them there was no spot on the team (SEC).
  17. I've seen many reports of Stanford offering close to 100 a year under Harbaugh, who would then use the admissions office to cut off contact with players who have committed but he no longer wanted. And those are guys who should have been cleared. That doesn't count those who couldn't qualify academically. He got away with it since he wasn't at it for a long period of time.
  18. Add Mikel Leshoure to the list, most likely. He's making his announcement tomorrow morning. No word on Liuget yet.
  19. He's trying really, really hard to not blurt out "HIRE ME, MICHIGAN!"
  20. Janoris Jenkins is returning to Florida. Martez Wilson is leaving for the NFL.
  21. I loved Folk's reaction as it started drifting to the right before cutting back towards the middle.
  22. Still as obvious a 5 yard running into the kicker penalty as you'll see, especially since he left his feet.
  23. He didn't really say that. It sounds like some players interpreted his comments that way, but the comments really only addressed what had happened up until that point. He didn't close the door on any potential future conversations with Michigan.
  24. According to Joe Schad, Michigan wants to interview Les Miles and it's expected to happen. From what I've read, Miles hasn't said anything to indicate he wouldn't consider the position.
