I was at that double header against Pittsburgh. It was purely electric. ndistops: Your signature pic of Smarzdija(sp.) has him catching the pass with his belt unhooked. That is talent. -

This was something quite interesting that was posted in today's game thread. These stats are in reference to the Cardinals and Pujols prior to today's game.

Elaborate? he cant elaborate on most of them haha I heard it too. I'm paraphrasing here, but he said that he has received many letters and faxes saying how they enjoy listening to Pat and Ron despite the atrocious team. He went on to say that you have to hand it to Cub fans for sticking by this team even though they are very angry. He also said the fans have the absolute right to be angry. Then later he also spoke about Pierre and did mention that he gets to the ballpark early and works hard, but it just hits a point where he needs to be on the bench.

Why ?? They guy's gotten on base 13 times in his last 7 games. Who do have that will do any better ?? I was kind of going for the reverse-jinx there, Fred. But seriously, I can't stand the guy. Is it possible that we could sign Andy Pafko to play CF? He'd be an upgrade. Pafko was good !! First game my dad took me to at Wrigley Field, Pafko was playing rf for the Milwaukee Braves. (I'm not old enough to remember Andy with the CUBS). Pafko was a starter at a golf course in Arlington Heights that my father occasionally golfed at. Not sure if Pafko is still at that golf course.

Over/under of how long this current losing streak last? 96 more games or until Dusty is fired, whichever comes first. Well, I don't think they will even win a game against the Tigers or the Indians. They'll be lucky to even get Z a win against the Indians.
