Exactly the same for me. I'm a bit of an Oakland fan as well since the Rockhounds are rather close, even though I've never been to a game. I've got a friend who got Zito's auto when he was pitching there as well as several others. If it weren't for the price of gas (and the fact that I don't have a vehicle that'd get me there) I wouldn't mind making to 3-3 1/2 trip every once in awhile. We have the Kane County Cougars (Single A of Oakland) here in the Chicago area. So that is part of the reason. Some good players have played there between the A's farmhands and when it was affliated with the Marlins....................Scott Podsednik, Dontrelle Willis, Josh Beckett, Ryan Dempster, Miguel Cabrera, Joe Blanton, and Huston Street t name a few. But, I just read about them. I've never even gone. I figure why go to a good game that can be economical on the wallet when I can spend an arm and a leg a Wrigley and watch a dismal team.
