    New players go on waivers. So you can't add him for two days and had better pray your priority is high enough. So he won't be added until Wed.? My priority is very low, but so is the baseball knowledge of most of my league. I'm trying to remember what happened last year, because Liriano was called up and I got him that same day.

    Steve Stone is an no-doubt idiot when it comes to baseball roster decisions and evaluation. And a hypocrite. Several years ago he was critical of the Cubs front office for letting Cedeno win the starting job based on his limited success in the majors, and now he is critical of the Cubs front office for not giving Theriot a shot at second base because he was great with the big club last season. Pick and choose your battles Steve...heres hoping you are no where near the front office of this team when ownership changes.

    Rich Hill might beg to differ. Wuertz has been great, though (as has Cotts, surprisingly). Do'h...yea definitely Rich Hill.

    Weurtz is great! I would like to acknowledge that I called Miller "done" after his first outing in ST. Wuertz has been our MVP so far. He and Cotts have been fantastic out of the pen.

    yes, i did see that stat on yahoo. but those guys are just slumpin, ur lucky u dont have izturis, blanco, and jones. u guys have pujols, edmonds, rolen, that little dweeb eckstein, who all usually have high averages. its just early season slumps, thats all. not to mention ur manager has won in the past 17 years, unlike ours True, however Preston Wilson is the Anti-Christ. Can you claim your lineup features the Anti-Christ? No, you can't. Have you seen Izturis? If hes not the Anti-Christ, then he is certainly the spawn of him.

    hahaha, a .614 IsoP, WOW Meanwhile: Ryan Theriot's is .000 Cesar Izturis's is .093 Derrek Lee's is .125 Aramis Ramirez's is .222 His IsoP is greater than our entire infield right now...haha (No, im not taking a crack at our infield -izturis, just pointing out how unreal ARod is right now.)

    Pie's patience has been somewhat of a suprise so far. No walks, but hes not wildly swinging at pitches he shouldnt be.

    Just a lil NBA update. The Cavs are up by 4 on the Bucks with 30 seconds to go in the third quarter. Lets hope the Bucks quit tanking this season, and make the Bulls game meaningless.

    Wow, thanks for posting. You can certainly tell a difference, my question is IF (not saying whether it is or isn't) that is the problem, how in the hell has no one working for the cubs noticed it?

    Hes something else, and the command in which he throws all three pitches is one of the most impressive things about him to me.

    Go get em boys! What a doubleheader that will be Gallagher/Veal It would be good to see Veal get back on track with his second start. I'm still holding out a glimmer of hope he pitches well enough to make it to the big club at the end of the year! (Really, either him or Gallagher)
