  1. I would think so. He did practiced at the end of the week. We can use every healthy body honestly. Except Dante Wesley. I'm not sure why he's even on the team. (FLAG FLAG FLAG FLAG)
  2. I might be getting ahead of myself but: Is Mark Bradley ready for this game, y'think?
  3. For all that he has learned from Deuce this year, he apparently hasn't learned Deuce's modesty. Honestly, I must be the only Bears fan that didn't care that he taunted the Bears. Obviously he was excited he just made a huge play and just pulled his team within 2. This is a competitive game, theres going to be some taunting. Oh well.
  4. Honestly, whichever team looks worse in this game is the team I want to play in the Superbowl. The Colts are so explosive, they've come back from 18 to tie the game (twice in fact) I really don't want to see Peyton against our defense.
  5. After sobering up, I've been coming to several realizations: 1) This is only the 8th winning Saints season I've seen in my lifetime. We got to the NFC Championship game for the first time ever. My grandfather, season ticket holder from 1967-1995, never got to see them get this far, so i guess I should be feel blessed. 2) I'm encouraged for the future. Drew Brees is 28, Reggie is 21, Deuce is 28, Colston is 23, Henderson is 24, Copper is 25. They'll be back and I'm just glad that I can look forward to expecting them to do well. 3) I'm glad we were beaten by a franchise with a long and proud history like the Bears, as opposed to being beaten by some nappy expansion team like the Panthers. That would have been like the Cubs losing to the Marlins. It just wouldn't be fair. 4) I'm an NFC person and I'm not a sore loser, so I'll be pulling for the Bears in the Super Bowl. That Reggie is gonna be special for you guys. I doubted him earlier in the season, but he truly could be the next Gale Sayers. You guys played hard, but honestly, there was no doubt which team was the better one at the end of the day. I'll look forward to playing you guys next year.
  6. ? He pretty much did what was asked for him. There were some deep throws that were a bit overthrown, but he also had to deal with some drops. Grossman had a B game, not B- not B+, but just right there.
  7. Karma is a...well you know. I'm not predicting a Saints win (although I did pick them to win) but, being a Cubs fan, I wouldn't even think the possibility of these being sold if I was a Bears fan. I'm pretty sure they make both shirts before the outcome of the game is decided. A-DOY!
  8. There is only one word that sums up Tom Waddle's little pre-game skits for his pre-game shows. Gay. Really really gay.
  9. Less than 12 hours remain until zero hour. Hopefully I'll sleep through most of it. (And hopefully I wont have any nightmares, I've just seen 2 really messed up movies back-to-back) Plan on getting up, getting some breakfast/brunchy type food, maybe killing some time with NCAA 06, check the boards and watch the game. Have fun guys, Go bears.
  10. I recently got into heated discussion with one of my friends over how much I hate the Colts. he was just baffled that i disliked a non-conference, non-divisional rival opponent. I just don't like the Colts. *shrug* I'd love to see Peyton Manning finish his career without a Super Bowl appearance. I don't even know how I can explain where it comes from.
  11. Hey, just start drinking earlier. It makes time fly. :D
  12. Anyone think Singletary could be the next Bears Defensive Coordinator once Rivera leaves? T'would be nice. Unlike that link. *Shudders* Its been brought up before, but since he is also assistant head coach it is illegal for him to be hired for any job lower than Head Coach. Plus he runs a system completely unlike our cover 2, and our personnel aren't quite fit for anything other than the 4-3. EDIT: Avatar and Sig overhaul for the upcoming game. Bear down!
  13. having just drank a lot and ate some really bad unhealthy fried chicken I think i'm prepared to say: bear down! I can't name how many people I saw in Ditka sweatshirts tonight, c'mon Bears, win for Chicago. we need you guys.
  14. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bowl_XLI Dear lord, if I wasn't a fan of a team going into the Super Bowl, that would be one hard telecast to sit through. (Which means if the Bears lose, I probably wont watch it) Doesn't anyone else feel like the CBS analysts don't really care about the game going on down on the field?
  15. If the Bears win you're going to go crazy waiting 2 weeks instead of one. Umm... Ummm..... I'm pretty sure those would be some really really great 2 weeks.
  16. Thank God I'm not alone. Drat, they are multiplying. 2 in four days...maybe by the end of the week there will be 4 of them! What are we going to do?
  17. This coupled with your avatar makes it the post of the year. And only 18 days in! Hey I didn't say that it couldn't be surpassed later.
  18. This coupled with your avatar makes it the post of the year.
  19. Owned. OH jeez an awkward position the quarterback is in after a sack and the tight end is on his knees. Believe me, there are some we can post with Favre and Urlacher. Who's in the Conference Championship again?
  20. Thats because he jumps a lot.
  21. Some of the prettiest passes I've seen Rex throw have been up the seam to Davis. Anyone remember a similar throw he made in the Lions game? Right in his hands, right in stride. I think it was a couple plays after he threw the interception that was called back on the penalty. Also, obviously, that throw to Rashied in the first Vikings game. Rashied always seems to have a 30 yard first down every game in his back pocket, but this past game it was 2. Maybe it was because it was in overtime.
  22. I frequent kffl.com Do you post there? http://www.dabearz.com seems pretty decent. Both these suck in comparison to Webwaymonsters.com Webway has every single article on the Bears posted as they are written too. Its nice.
  23. I frequent webwaymonsters.com but its kinda personal and there aren't many posters.
  24. Accuscore predicts the Bears win 58% of the time after 10,000 simulations, at an average score of 26-23. Obviously it doesn't mean much, but I think it deserves a bit more credence than what a bunch of fat guys sitting on their computers predict. (ESPN)
  25. Well, I just checked and last year the Steelers had two SI covers in Jan '06. Patriots had two pre-superbowl SI covers in Jan & Feb '05. So I guess it's not that big of a jinx. That and...weren't the Bears on it earlier in the season? I can't find the cover right now, but I definitely saw one, way back in week 4 or so.
