Plus, we aren't facing quaility pitching. The whole Marlins series the pitchers have ERA in the 5's. If you can't take 2/3 or sweep these guys you might as well pack it up. This should be over by Friday. We got swept by those fools earlier this year.

That kid really is cute. Its so weird to see Theriot with a child, I always imagine him as a young guy even though he's in his late 20's.

This Braves-Milwaukee series has been one of the best I've ever witnessed this year. Gotta give the Braves credit for playing so hard with not very much to play for.

This is going to look so bad for the Big Ten. Already the calls of "Worst Football Conferecne" are coming out. This is friggin' AWFUL. I blame you entirely, Michigan. Screw you sooooooo [expletive] much. Oh, you just had to tank those first 2 games, and now, turn on those lights while the Big Ten schedule starts, and now you'll go on a rampage, ruining everyone elses season. Hell, you'll probably beat Ohio State and win the Big Ten Championship, only to lose in the Rose Bowl.

Hey, it'd be nice if SOME Illinois school could keep some talent in state, rather than let it get poached by ND, Michigan and OSU. God, if Illinois could just keep all the talent in Illinois from going elsewhere, we'd have the building blocks to be a perennial contender. its not like there isn't talent here, its just that it always goes somewhere else.

My brother told me that a win against a D1AA team doesn't count towards the necessary amount of wins (6) that you need to qualify for a bowl. I don't believe him, but is he right?

baseballprospectus' page said we LOST ground last night after we won and Milwuakee won as well. How the hell do they figure that? We kept our lead, and the Brewers are running out of games to make up the lead. Strange.
