not if they lose by a run. terrible coaching by quade. just terrible. If there are runners at first and third, chances are Pinero throws a different pitch to Soriano. It sucks that Quade sent him, but I'm happy with how things worked out. very dubious argument. No, I think its a pretty safe argument. Things change in a hurry.

Way to criticize a guy based on a hypothetical situation. That's fair. He didn't criticize him; he just stated facts. Fact: Kendall's arm is crap. Based on that, it's reasonable to infer that he may not have been able to make that throw. Why trash Kendall's arm because of a play Soto makes? Does that make any sense? Way to ignore the whole discussion. We are saying Soto makes a play that we don't think Kendall could make. (taht is, if he let the ball go by him, which he might not have done) Its like saying Soriano could make a throw Jones couldn't....its not that ridiculous.

Unfortunately my FSN is blacked out here so I can only listen to the the commentators on "Superhomer: WGN." Allow me to enjoy the moment. At least the WGN guys actually talk. You're color guy doesn't say a word when teh Cardinals are down. He reminds me of a less interesting Hawk Harrelson.

How bout Craig Monroe as the first bat off the bench vs. a righty? Trachsel facing Mike Lamb with Scott Eyre ready in the pen seemed pretty obviously done just so Trachsel could get a win. I'm not gonna do that obnoxious "Fixed" thing anymore because its pretty insulting, but I was really tempted to just "fix" your post to just say: "Trachsel starting the game" I mean seriously. We've seen 3 starts out of him, three starts to prove that he has absolutely nothing left. We got sooooo lucky today.
