  1. Even Ted Williams made outs Only like half the time. Ted Williams was probably the best player ever at not making outs. well considering that he has the best OBP of all-time, I'd say he's definitely the best player ever at not making outs. Ted Williams is my hero.
  2. I don't think I get anything. Its fine, I'm more spoiled then everyone here, I've seen nearly every single game this year.
  3. Theriot has been terrible for a while, unfortunately we have absolutely no one else to play SS. WE DONT HAVE TO BAT HIM 2ND EVERY DAY THOUGH
  4. Soto should start every game and bat like 2nd.

  6. Brewers have a man in scoring positon with 2 outs. Odds they score: Damn near 80%
  7. That's rational. I've said it before and I'll probably say it again, Jacque Jones is one of the dumbest MLB players in the league. He makes some of the most boneheaded mistakes, at the plate and in the field. (not to mention the basepaths when he somehow ends up on base) Screw you Jacque Jones. I never liked you, not even whe you were "hot". (You made the same contact as ever and your lame groundballs found holes. Congrats, you still suck)
  8. you're not missing much I figured as much.
  9. I can't find WCIU in the U of I dorms.
  10. Can we please win one game in which we score first? The Cubs make that look as hard as anything else.
  11. I've always kinda had a soft spot in my heart for the Brewers (Not their fan base of course), they always seemed like even harder luck losers than the Cubs, and no one watched them. Their fans are a bunch of annoying whiners, and to top it off, most of them are Packers fans too. (Nothing against you Cubs fans that also root for the Packers, but thats a deadly combination right there) Their team this year pisses me off. But boy do I love those throwback uniforms. I wouldn't be terribly upset if they won the World Series, not nearly as much as those damned Redbirds. Not me. I seriously hate every single one of our opponents in the Central. No soft spot here... How long have the Brewers even been a division rival? If anything, Sox fans should dislike them more than anyone else.
  12. I saw him every so often in the dining halls last year. I think my roommate is in a class with Arrelious Benn, but I'm not sure.

  14. Essentially? No, all the way At least he wasn't a complete negative like Floyd coming out from the bench to hit into a clutch double play. your right, the way floyd has been hitting he should have started. why murton was in the lineup boggles me Murton looked like a little kid out there, though. I don't know whats happened to his mental toughness, he gets a strike out and then looks like a fool the rest of the time.

  16. News Alert: Will Ohman is still terrible.
  17. Phillips was easily out, too bad that the Umps despise the cubs.
  18. Right here, a good single will get the job down.
  19. And he pops up a really hittable pitch........
  20. At least Soriano is putting together a good at bat right now.
  21. How do pitchers know exactly when he's not going to be swinging at the first pitch so they can get one right down the middle? Because that pisses me off all the time.
  22. That was about the worst chase of the worst pitch in the at bat. Good god Kendall, that was embarrassing.
  23. How much of a momentum killer would us being no-hit tonight be? After all that goodwill you won for the fans last night, you go and just be terrible tonight, Cubs. Thanks a lot.
