  2. Time for DeRosa to hit into a clutch double play.
  3. The bats will be ready exactly to coincide with our pitching to start sucking
  4. lol Thats how Bourn should look in every at bat
  5. announcers attacking rich hill for pitching well and not getting run support ARGH RICH I WISH YOU COULD HIT BETTER
  6. I'm still aghast that Sampson's pitch count is so low. He should by all rights go complete in this game. Assuming our hitters are as terrible as they've been all game.
  7. C'mon Theriot, bloop one over the first basemen.
  8. God damnit, why couldn't that stretch over the basket.
  9. Is anyone else dissapointed to see the seats behind homeplate empty?
  10. We really shouldn't be surprised. This is pretty much teh same lineup as last year except with Kosuke, so why would we expect it to suddenly start hitting now because he came? I mean he's hitting, but no one else is doing anything, which is typical. people hit for some of the other pitchers. there's a reason he only won 11 games, and it's not because he had a bad year or got hurt a lot And it has nothing to do with who was on the mound, its just luck. Hitters don't hit better or worse for pitchers.

  15. Watching it on gameday during class is an empowering experience
  16. He'll have some competition with Fukudome's 243 RBIs
  17. Neither have I, Soul. Something about last year sucked a bit of my interest in the team. I think it was because I knew that they needed to make changes on the O-line and they just flat out refused to do anything about it. I'm never trusting this front office again. :( Oh well, we can get back in it, we proved this past year that Green Bay was a bit of a paper tiger, and the rest of the division is fairly mediocre, theres no reason we can't contend in this division. EDIT: I picked 10 wins last year, and if it wasn't for stupid meltdown B.S. like the first Lions game, both Minnesota games and the Giants game, we probably would have been right there, despite all the problems we had. It was pretty ugly last year, but we never really got blown out, other than perhaps the second half of the Dallas game. It shouldn't be that hard to get us back on track, despite the need for an entire offensive overhaul.
