I'm so bumbed. From what I hear this deal is pretty much done, and they are goin to relegate DeRosa to utility player agian. Figures, we aren't allowed to have a league average (or above average!) quality 2b for long, GOTTA GRAB SOME BENCH KID. I'm going to kill myself. I hate the Cubs so [expletive] much.

Come now, he's way better than David Eckstein in their respective sports. Eckstein would be that guard that doesn't score a lot but "plays good defense" and does "all the things that don't show up in the stat book." -
Its tough. McGee definitely needs some more time to become a polished, efficient QB, yet Juice is showing week in and week out he simply cannot throw the football. Either way, 8 wins to finish this season would be awesome.

Wooo OSU. Now don't crap out against Michigan this year. Or my school, Illinois. Interesting match up, but I'm thinking Illinois is going to get creamed. Too much speed on defense to defend the option. And LOL if the defense will hold Beanie Wells.

I do too. I don't what it is, but I really think we can win this one. I guess it's a matter of Anthony Morelli forgetting that he's Anthony Morelli for a few hours. I dont have a lot of confidence in Morelli picking apart the zone defense and disguised blitz's OSU brings. Boeckman looked good in the 1st half against state last week, i missed the 2nd half and that pick 6 he threw. OSU doesnt lose TO battles, maybe tonight they will cough it up more. PSU needs that. I hope you guys' boys get it done tonight. I dont have a lot of confidence that my guys will pick up the B10s mess on Nov 17. A Michigan fan? Jesus. Couldn't you guys just lay down after the beginning of this season? You had to lose your first 2 games embarrassingly and then sweep through the Big Ten making the rest of us look terrible. Go Bucks Then to top things off, they'll get killed by OSU making it look like a one team conference. Doubtful. The bigger the disparity between the two teams in the rivalry, the more likely the good one will lose.

Wait what? I was never under any assumption they were any better than average, and probably pretty sub-par. They have talent, but they are poorly coached, have poor positioning and are bad tacklers. I never knew anyone considered them any good.

I think you need to lay off the crack pipe. perhaps, but does anyone really think OSU is that good? I mean, seriously? I don't think anyone is that good this year. Its pretty much a cluster**** of teams and whoever is at the top at the end of the season wins the lamest NC ever. But yeah, I think Ohio State is pretty darn good. Their defense is redunkulous (hurr hurr hurr they have only played bad teams their defense isn't very good) , better than the 2006 and 2005 versions. Their offense is pretty eh, but Chris Wells is a freakin' monster. The team reminds me a lot of teh 2002 championship team, except winning games by larger margins.

What, you mean it might have had something to do that they only had three players that deserved a spot on a major league roster? He definately had some craptastic players. 1996 Cubs Oh jesus, Sosa had 40 home runs that year and only a .323 On base percentage. :| You have to try (there is no almost about it) to not take walks to do that.

As it is, speed is way overrated and overpriced, so I don't really see it as ever becoming a bargain. I doubt this will change any time soon.

Ohio State looks like they'll sweep MSU by if they can keep the offense moving like this. I'll be at the Ill-MI game, so if any of you guys are lucky you'll see my Carlos-Zambrano-looking face.

Also notice that among the last 3 teams, the 2 teams alive in the ALCS are among the top 3 and the team that won the NL is objectively the best team in the NL.

Damn him for making a mistake. Guess what every single person on this team made stupid mistakes this year, not just Ronny He's made an inordinate amount of mistakes for how much playing time he's been granted. Its reasonable to be worried about him. I'd still prefer he get a chance to start over Theriot, but who knows.

Some people really have problems with the franchises in the NLCS. Who wants to watch the Dbacks and the Rockies? Lame franchises that haven't even existed for 30 years combined. I disagree with this, but I'm still not really caring whats happening. If these two teams were any good I'd be watching! If this was the 2001 Diamondbacks vs. the...well I guess the Rockies have never had a great team. Either way, I'd watch it.
