Why not? We did this last year too. Sure I'd like to save him for the next time we face the 3-4-5 hitter, but who would you honestly want here? Howry and his flat fastballs vs. Burrell? Agreed. The game is on the line right here. The game was on the line when there were men on 1st and 3rd and no out. That was probably the highest leverage situation and Lou screwed it up. Oh well.

The chance of them scoring multiple runs after the runner on 3rd scored and they got an out decreased dramatically So yeah, it makes sense

Even the computer hates the Cubs. With a 2 run lead we were only 75% to win and with a 1 run lead only slightly about 50%, and now its only tied and they have a 75% chance to win I actually hate that computer

So if we could have figured out how to hold 2 run leads in this series we would have won the series instead of being swept Good to know. Screw you Cubs. I hate you guys sometimes. (most of the time)
