    I'm glad the Brewers won. Maybe it'll fire the team up, even though I don't usually believe in that sort of stuff, but they definitely deserve to be in a tie with us after how terribly we've played and how well they've played. Let the better team win.

    Why is Geovany Soto batting 7th with Mike Fontenot batting 5th? Sometimes I feel like Lou is an ignorant manchild, but I can't often complain about the results. I mean honestly man.

    disconcerting but what can you do? Hope we haven't tapped everything we can out of Dempster and some of our other pitchers, and hope our hitting gets back to where it was.

    Does no one realize that Aramis actually made pretty damn good contact in his last at bat but hit it right at the third basemen?

    Theres no reason for Howry to stay on our major league team. Maybe someone else would have a use for him, I don't. Add in the fact that Lou can't stop using him and he's been KILLING us

    So can Soriano just not run at all anymore? I don't understand, he's sidelined for 6 weeks, has had plenty of time to rest his hamstring, and he's still slow as hell? Has he just completely lost his speed? Horrible. Can we DFA Howry yet? He really has no purpose and Lou just can't stop using him in close games.

    Its a shame Chad Gaudin gave up 2 hits, I was hoping he'd take the reins from Howry as "RH I go to whenever Marmol isn't available" to Lou

    Being picked off by Hunter Hillenmeyer of all people is a humbling experience We may be in for a 2004 like year in terms of offensive production

    well, it's not that deceiving. howry's control hasn't been the problem. If we could somehow combine Marquis' stuff with Howry's control we'd get one quality pitcher out of them

    Top of my head, I'd guess the Giants, but I dunno. Dodgers 21, Giants 20, Cardinals 17. Should've known that. I totally forgot how long those teams had been around. ](*,) Who cares about total pennants anyway? That reminds me of the article I read today by Mariotti where he says that Rex has more turnovers than Orton even though he has about twice as many starts Damn counting stats :P
