I can't tell if this is good or bad for college basketball. I guess the whole sport is kinda not really sure where to go now. I'm not going to say it was 'easy' to tell that something insane like this years tournament was going to happen, but anyone with an eye on college basketball knew that the field was so very weak this year, and it as certainly possible that a lot of upsets were going to go down in the tournament. As nice as it is to have all these upsets and the insane craziness of it all, it feels like we need those constant faces, the powerhouses, to stay around for the sport to remain relevant. People just don't want to watch VCU - Butler match ups. And while its satisfying to see these big time programs get what they deserve, the more and more they deteriorate the more ignored college basketball will be.

I thought we only owed him 6 mil this season, after the Mariners picked up 5.5 of his 11.5 salary? If I had to guess how this plays out, Hendry is probably trying to trade him right now but wont find a taker. He'll probably push Cashner into the pen and let Silva start a few times. Those starts wont go well, we'll cut Silva, and try to move Cashner back into the rotation but probably give him a minor arm injury in the process of stretching him back out. We'll watch Coleman get pounded for a few weeks until Cashner is ready to start pitching again. Cashner will be ineffective and an MRI will show a tear in his elbow. He'll miss the next year after Tommy John surgery, and be stuck in the pen permanently after that, as he "couldn't handle a starter's workload." On the fringes of playoff contention at about 6 games back, we'll trade for Paul Maholm for the stretch run. We wont give up too much to acquire him, but Hendry will resign him to an overly expensive contract in the offseason. Probably about 3 years, 18 mil. Yeah this sounds about right. I want them to cut Silva just to prove that MLB Gm's know a little something about sunk cost. -
I know, it really is weird how few Orlando games are televised nationally. As usual, theres going to be a difference between the person who should be MVP and the actual MVP award winner

Bernstein's been begging for an Asik double-double all year and he finally delivered (possibly in his last opportunity with serious playing time) Asik also went on for his first ever interview. His english isn't too bad but he sounds like an even goofier Andre the Giant

i fully expect that we lose to them again too, because we always play awful in new jersey and we even lost last year to a historically bad nets team when we were fighting for a playoff spot

Greatest nickname ever. I sure hope the Bulls can keep Stacey King around and he doesn't get snatched up for a national TV job. hes got the right amount of homerism tied with legitimate casting ability that he probably could never be a national sportscaster but will be a hometime favorite

well, whenever the heat are involved its practically guaranteed it'll be bad. i'm not gonna complain now because the bulls are now getting those superstar type gimme calls (call me crazy paranoid but there are probably 20 teams in the league that don't get a foul called when luol goes sprawling) now so i'm cool with it. but something drastic has to change in the nba because its the worst officiated league in pro sports. theres also some inherent bias in the whole thing because with so many possessions and such vague rulings on what constitutes a foul the reffs are under much more scrutiny than in any other sport. but they are still absolutely abhorrent.

The Onion, as a newspaper or whatever, is actually much better with just the headlines and without the articles that usually break the joke down way too hard and kills it. For example, Headline: Cubs Hope To Get Disappointing Soriano In Shape By Swimming With Sharks, Skydiving Without A Parachute thats it, thats the whole joke, we don't really need an article or a video about it, its funny, I chuckled, lets move on.

Yeah this is really true, we go on these immense scoring droughts and Thibs just stands there, but if the team makes just one mistake on the defensive end he flips out Its nice that he cares, but we really need to polish up on the offensive end
