The offense desperately needs to get it's [expletive] together. The OL has looked wretched, but man, it's depressing watching Cutler. He's not the disaster the meatballs say he is, and he kept the critical turnovers in check today, but he's just been looking...off. I really hope we're not seeing him finally breaking down from the beatings he's taken over the years. We've gotta see Big Play Cutler if they want to have a chance. He threw for 330 yards and 3 TDs last week against a team that just made Aaron Rodgers look human. I really don't know why you're pulling a really hard Derwood-troll lately. This isn't what he's addressing. Cutler has never been great at the short to mid throws rhythm throws and he's been even worse this year. It's the short slants to receivers, the tight end screens (ugh), and dump offs to Forte. Those are plays you *need* to maintain consistent drives because in the 2014 NFL they've all but replaced the running game as a bread and butter play. Cutler has been really bad at either 1. Completing them or 2. Giving players a chance to make a move and get upfield when they're completed. His deep ball and his upper mid range passes have remained fairly strong, that's where Jeffery and Bennett have made plays this year. But the undependable running game and short passing game is why, in my opinion, the offense has been especially disjointed this year.
