    Just because Castro got worse at age 25 doesn't mean we should throw away projections and just say, oh we don't know anything We can expect Russell to get better from his age 21 season, and he's already better than Castro. So he's not a problem, duh

    Who do you want that's on the market right now, real talk? (Bear in mind that you have to pay for these players, costing you pieces that are possibly already at the major league level, like Schwarber, because aint nobody wants Baez and Castro)

    I don't think I want them to buy. The players who are supposed to be doing well are going to start doing well or they're not. We won't make the playoffs unless they do, regardless of anything else. Yeah its all cornerstone pieces that have to play well that haven't that makee or break this team. An additional starting pitcher, even if was like, Cole Hamels playing like yesterday every start, isn't the difference. I wouldn't mind a Ben Zobrist, but I also don't think a Ben Zobrist makes a big difference.

    ive resisted saying or feeling "this team is hot garbage" and i have tried to argue with people that have, while emotional, have said this but this team is approaching "hot garbage" and it isn't good, i wish it wasn't happening

    yo seriously dont get swept by the worst team in the league i know the team is bottoming out and they'll at the very least get a dead cat bounce, but this is embarrassing and needs to be rectified.

    Bryant hit a home run two days a ago. Anthony Rizzo has done nothing in the calendar month. Also if you need to downgrade them again, it's to "Cubes" not cobs.

    Yeah it IS really weird they didn't double switch Schwarber in and keep his bat instead of David Ross. Likely makes no difference, but it's strange

    That team was one of the biggest flukes in sports history The 2001 Chicago Bears allowed the fewest amount of points in the NFL, and scored the 11th most.
