the Nats have had some pretty scathing collapses recently. Would be all the worse to waste one of the greatest seasons by a player ever with Harper. But last I checked they had no other full time player with even a .800 OPS so I guess its not that surprising. Im all in favor of their complete decline if it takes one of the NL East teams out of the discussion in the Wild Card. -
