Joe doesn't really have control over the batters not getting more than 2 runs over 10 innings against a bad starter and a historically bad bullpen The rest is window dressing
Honestly if I pitched to Javy 10 times he'd hit 9 home runs but one of those times, one of those times he'd strike out swinging at my 65 mph fastball down and away
Even if he never grows he'll have value as an elite defensive player around the mount and he'll run into double digit homers and enough hits from natural talent alone But his approach is endlessly frustrating it's true
Joe trying to fit Contreras in the lineup, position be damned, is pretty fun (its almost Schwarber-esque). Makes me think that Contreras is staying up for good now because Joe likes his bat so much.
Lol the offense completely sucks, the starters have had mild hiccups and the bullpen blows Ah well Most of all I'm sad for Heyward who should have something like 4 more hits given the swings he's put on balls lately
