  1. I have no idea what his numbers this year look like but I hate Chatwood and have memories of his no hitter vs. us so much that I’ll take him
  2. i'd like him to wally pipp seal boy honestly
  3. ahahahahahahahahahah thats how you draw it up baby!!!
  4. David Bote for MVP, everyone else DFA'd, imo
  5. instead of being bad, consider this: be good
  6. we're just gonna strike out our way to winning this game
  7. Score a few more runs, and win, and then DFA both Chatwood and Duensing
  8. The truth of the matter is we got ungodly lucky with pitcher health and effectiveness from 2015-2017 and now it’s evening out. Our betting on position players in the draft being more solid bets than pitcher prospects is paying off in the fact that we’re still very good, but it makes....a lot of games like this
  9. Yeah Duensing doesn’t belong on a major league roster
  10. I don’t know if it’s good or bad that the team has gotten absurdly lucky with RISP when Chatwood is pitching...it’s extended his life on the major league roster but it extends the pain so much
  11. i love when my team aggressively stuffs an inning into the toilet for no reason
  12. oh. i guess they just dont want more than 1 run i guess
  13. you don't *have* to bunt, but I guess its Almora against a righty so whatever
  14. I swear to god Chatwood has set some sort of club or national record for walks given tot he pitcher so far
  15. This is all true. Its weird how unsatisfactory (I can only speak for myself, but I suspect many also feel the same way) it feels but at this point the Cubs are in a great position. I think theres just been some real rough starter luck here, with injuries and poor performance all around. But hey, they're likely gonna have homefield advantage throughout the playoffs so, roll them dice baby
  16. Alright, time to pounce on this fool
  17. I think it’s possible the Cubs have been the first to score in a game this season but I can’t think of a situation that’s occurred
