I don't even understand the cynical 'baseball-only' side of this. Addison Russell is not a very good baseball player. I don't even think he's better than Javy defensively. Why are they doing this? It makes no sense to me from any angle.

He's actually been really good but it feels to my untrained eye like it's only a matter of time before he turns into a pumpkin. Luckily it wasn't today. went 3-1 on Votto and served up a meatball but at least it was an out oh well, close it out please, thanks
