Peter King talks about the owners meetings...some notes: 1) There's a proposed penalty for hair that covers the name on your jersey. Peter thinks it's unlikely to pass because of perceived racial overtones. 2) It's likely that defenses will get 2 players with headsets in the helmets thanks Bellichek and Spy-gate. 22 teams said yes last year. Only 24 need to say yes for it to pass. Only 1 player on the field at a time would get the headset, but one on the sideline could wear it in cases of substitution. If both those players happen to be out, or injured, then it's back to signaling in from the sidelines. 3) Nothing is being done about the "last second time out" rule that was enacted last year that allowed teams to call time out just before a last second field goal kick. In fact, no teams even brought it up as a point of concern on the end of year surveys.
