At this point, I think this is simply trolling. You're trying to rile up the sizable pro-Cedeno crowd here. Pardon? What is your problem? I didn't even bother to read the previous posts in this thread, nor is there a reason to. I merely logged on here to express my utter disbelief that Cedeno continues to get chances to suck on this roster. I've been a member here for a few years, and have numerous posts. Your "trolling" comment is offensive and belittling; I'd suggest you rethink your comment. Isn't this a game thread - a place where forum members can post their comments on the game? Cedeno has driven in half of today's runs. You're welcome to post what you want, but you might want to rethink it as well. 3.5 rbi? Impressive. Well it was a double.... ;)

You mean aside from the 3 run double earlier? totally outweighed by his inability to move the runner over for hart to drive in. He would have, but his grit level was low.

4 Really? 4 scored on errors.... That's what the box score says. Yeah....I see that after I posted...I still question it though. The first error would've ended the inning if it'd been a good throw. Therefore everything after should be unearned if I'm thinking correctly. how so? they were ruled singles anyway, so lets say they just hold onto the ball. Mclouth ended up with a triple so they all would have scored anyways right? That must be how they figured it.

I don't see how that's a sure thing, and it's a strange way to rationalize a hilariously bad error. Don't hurt yourself stretching to defend Cedeno at any cost. Saying Cedeno > Theriot is not saying Cedeno is great, or even average.

Okay, I'm converted. I was one of those in the camp of "Theriot sucks - but he's the best we got." Screw it and just play Cedeno. I'm watching on MLB gameday - was it a well placed gapper or a shot over the CF's head? Gameday's dot - which usually shows where it falls - was at the wall.
