  1. You spelled Lebron funny.
  2. I knew you'd love that one.
  3. That makes this Soriano quote funnier... I'd love to see what a Jim Hendry fire sale looks like. All those NTC's.
  4. Hilariously wrong. Check your facts. ARAM's contract says he can walk at the end of 2010. Why would he want to stay here at all? Money.
  5. Vincent Jackson was suspended for the first 3 games of the season for violating the conduct policy (a couple DUI's). Another reason to not be all that keen on trading for him.
  6. All the people you want to unload have no trade clauses. Also, I'm merging this with the Piniella thread.
  7. The sign and trade would clear cap space, presumably. They are very close to enough space for two max as it is. Not unless they trade Deng it won't. I believe that's correct. Deng would be where the cap clearance is. If they were able to do a S&T for say, just draft picks, I believe Bosh would count the same as just signing him outright would.
  8. I think Bosh will go first, to the first team that can get a S&T with Toronto.
  9. The big free agents are falling! :P
  10. That's the right move for him. Take the cash. For sure. Not so much for the Hawks.
  11. My guesses: $1.8 on a short-term deal, $3.0 on a long-term deal, and $2.2 on a short-term deal. If you're right, they still have to clear some salary according to Capgeek... http://www.capgeek.com/charts.php?Team=11 They're fine if you can get rid of Huet's salary one way or another....
  12. Heh...I don't think other sports are going to be as accepting of the vuvuzela's as FIFA is...
  13. The Trib says the Bears aren't after Jackson...
  14. Flyers signed Leighton to a 2-year deal.
  15. How do you figure that Cleveland's bench makes as much sense as a team with Noah and Rose? Because Varejao is better than Noah. And because Williams+Jamison aren't really worse than Rose+Deng, and at the very least are better suited to LeBron's game. Um...ok. That's not true though. woah look at nba superfan here all of a sudden at least let lebron sign with the bulls before you get all bandwagony If my choices are the Cubs, or being a Bulls bandwagoner...there is no choice.
  16. ESPN.com has predictions. Of 8 predictions, 6 of them think Lebron ends up in Chicago, Chris Sheridan says the Knicks, and Marc Stein says Cleveland. None of them think the odds of their prediction coming true is greater than 50-50. 4 of 8 also think the Bulls get Bosh. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?page=FreeAgency-100630
  17. I don't really think it is. I'm shocked you don't think so.
  18. Varejao 8.6 PPG 7.6 RPG 0.9 BPG Noah 10.7 PPG 11 RPG 1.6 BPG Sideshow Bob's a better defender Quite debateable.
  19. Varejao 8.6 PPG 7.6 RPG 0.9 BPG Noah 10.7 PPG 11 RPG 1.6 BPG

  21. How do you figure that Cleveland's bench makes as much sense as a team with Noah and Rose?
  22. How about two 2nd round picks?
