    chicago makes whatever choice they request. So Chicago has to take the risk that this trade won't fall apart between the time the pick is made and the 8th?

    We generally prefer those that actually make some sense. What part of my argument didn't make sense? You can't always look at the monthly splits. Of course not. But there's a massive collection of data out there on every player. Dismissing that information because you think someone doesn't look like someone that cares is ridiculous. "I reject your reality and choose to substitute my own" is not an argument that will work. Your conclusions may be absolutely correct. But the arguments you're using to get there are ridiculous.

    Having Italy get so close was glorious. Down 1-0 and Slovakia clears the ball off the line. Down 2-1 and your player is inches offside. So close yet they just couldn't get the tying goal. This has been a great 24 hours of sports. And almost entirely non-"big four" related.

    When I think of baseball player, I think of players like Colvin, etc. I would give some other names, but then I would get crucified for putting those guys' names in the same sentence with Colvin. My point with the "baseball player" remark was that when I look at Colvin, I see a young player who is eager for his opportunity, but still goes out and hits in a lesser role. And when he does start, he's got a hop in his step and it is just fun to watch him out there. I don't really get the same vibe from Kosuke, that's all. You understand that baseball players don't have choices in their "role", right? It's not like Colvin says "You know...I'm not really ready to be a regular starter, so I think I'll take a backseat while I learn my place in this game." The "vibe" you get from players is a poor argument to use on this board.

    Wait.........wut? :shock: I love Kane and all, but who can justify putting Kane over Crosby? Not to mention as a center? I could buy to a certain degree Jonathan Toews, but Patrick Kane? IDK. Funny what a SC winning OT goal will do for your rep.

    I know there's a weekly MLS game on ESPN, and the MLS Cup is on ABC. Fox Soccer Channel also gets a weekly game, and there's an Extra-Innings type package you can order from your provider if you want a bunch of the games. maybe the games are on FSN-Ohio or something. I don't pay much attention to that channel unless baseball is on. The Crew are pretty popular right now (mostly because they're good, I suppose). http://www.thecrew.com/2010-broadcast-schedule
