Trestman just said that Tillman won't be available in the playoffs. His recovery hasn't progressed enough. Trestman wouldn't say if Tillman had surgery, saying that it's a privacy issue. Briggs will practice this week. Optimistic he'll play. Jay's headset wasn't working for about 6 plays yesterday, one of which was the first INT.

But the point is that he never gets blamed for a team that continually underperforms overall. While most other QB's are lightning rods for criticism if the team underperforms. Actual stats be damned. Tony Romo doesn't get unfair criticism? What world are you guys living in? Romo is up there with Cutler and Eli in terms of the Mt. Rushmore of dudes who invoke a [expletive] every time they screw up. Nationally, but not by the home market.

LaCanfora definitely made a much bigger deal out of it than it is. McCown most likely would want to evaluate his market value anyway.

Hell, I pay for Center Ice but when the games are on WGN I can only get the visitors broadcast for some reason. That pisses me off. I'm not gonna pay for Center Ice for a handful of regular season games each year. I live in central Illinois...I shouldn't be missing any Chicago sports games. It's just these and a few CLTV Cubs games (although sometimes those are simulcast locally.) -

I don't think we can assume any wins for Detroit at this point. They've choked a very easy 2nd half schedule.

So Mike Mulligan just had a great point on the radio (every squirrel finds the occasional nut)... If Cutler knows that Phil has a plan, has negotiations already begun? Maybe Jay's agent is already talking with Emery? Does Jay know that they want him back?

In all seriousness, if the Bears let Jay go....who is your QB of the future? 34 year old Josh McCown? Do you remember what a truly bad QB looks like? We've had a lot of them. They don't look a thing like Jay Cutler.
