    TE sighting.

Good to hear on Boone...phew. Brown's reaction has me worried...he was cursing up a storm, and had his head in his hands...I hope it's less severe than he thinks...
  3. Banedon

    Come ON! Boone down.
  4. Banedon

    Horrrrrrible call.
  5. Banedon

Grossman has looked really very good...the few drops haven't been because his throws were inaccurate...
  6. Banedon

Warner looks pretty sharp though...should be a good warmup for the secondary for the season.
  7. Banedon

Looks like the D came to play tonight.
  8. Banedon

Fitzgerald needs a penalty for that temper tantrum....
  9. Banedon

He was getting held on that sack too :D

I'm really not a fan of Moose. The first diving catch he had for a first down was pretty nice. Agreed, but that's really been a rarity with him...

I'm really not a fan of Moose.

Grossman is looking SOO much better.... The sound is messed up every time the crowd gets excited...sounds like they may need to turn down the mic gain on some mic... God, please let Alex Brown be ok. Please.

And yet we were just talking a few pages back about how people agreed with Foxsports.com that the Bears receiving was last in the league.

I'd certainly much rather have Branch than Lelie...
  15. My son isn't even born yet, and he already has a Cubs outfit hanging in his closet.
  16. :?: The guy just doesn't know baseball. He knows the Red Sox and Yankees, and that's about it. It is fixed. ESPN probably saw my post. Garwilly = Bill Simmons

Brown and Vasher out? Hrm... They both said they'd be ready to go for the season but I'm still not liking. Less worried about Vasher than Brown.

I think you're way off. The WR and TE positions have received an incredible amount of scrutiny. People realize Rex isn't working with the 99 Rams offense here. Grossman will be blamed if he fails, as he should. But he won't get all the blame. Especially if Moose is dropping passes that last season he could pass off on Orton...
  19. How much will team record factor in for voters also?

How bout show SOMETHING...I like Rex, but I'm leaning towards Grieseball at this point. I can't figure out why I like Rex either, he hasn't done anything....ever. I think that's kind of the point though. The Bears drafted this kid seemingly forever ago, and through most of that, he's been injured and unable to show whether potential translates into actual on-field talent. He showed some of that after his return last season, and I think the Bears feel like they need to find out what they have. Griese is there if Grossman falls on his face.
  21. it's hitting that's lacking....timely or not... And I'm not sure what timely base running is.

ESPN is [expletive]. (Insider link) Bold added by me: Unless I've COMPLETELY missed it, Cedric won't be playing this week. The rest of it is repeating what I can get for free if I pretty much go to any nfl site and look up "Chicago Bears". Good thing I have access to Insider!!!
  23. So....does this mean that Izturis clogs bases with his glove?
  24. Cheaper maybe, but more productive? Based on what? considering that neither have been in the same ballpark with edmonds as far as production over the course of their entire careers(except for this year, and the fact that edmonds probably has at least a couple more years left at the +.850 OPS level--even forgetting that wells has been very incosnistent thus far as well. he might not be significantly more productive, but i'll say that he'll be marginally more productive. Assuming that Edmonds will be healthy for an entire season, much less 2, is probably assuming an awful lot though.
  25. Lets keep this all in the same thread... http://www.northsidebaseball.com/PremiumForum/viewtopic.php?t=34895 viewtopic.php?t=34895
