Ugh. Ok so I have 2 questions... 1) Does this mean Joe won't be announcing games? Because I can watch the ESPN or CBS pregame shows, and then not ever have to see Joe, which might make this a good thing. 2) What happened to James Brown?

Maybe I'm reading too much into this.... That sounds more mental than physical to me. I wonder if he's having trouble mentally getting ready to face batters. I hesitate to say this, because I'm don't really believe this, but is this maybe the less wild version of Ankiel? Again maybe I'm reading too much into this, and he's talking about how his shoulder felt, but he never really says that... -
I wonder if this has anything to do with there being so many rookies on the team that Dusty couldn't tell them apart without names on the jerseys? The real reason Dusty hates rookies! He's bad at names with faces.

I suspect that Pat was probably messing with Ron some...he definitely does that. I'm one of the few that really like Ron on the radio. I know he's not terribly informative, but Pat really balances that out very well, and Ron is more a reflection of the typical fan than he is anything else. I love his emotion behind every game, and I love that he's still getting upset about the losses even at this point in the year. Not to mention, I think Ron needs to be out doing something. I think for him personally, it probably really helps with the medical issues that he has, that he has something else to concentrate on other than those issues.

Girardi > Baker. That's all I know. I'd be ok with a Girardi hiring. He wouldn't be my ultimate preference, but it'd be better than a Piniella or something like that. -

Exactly. I don't like Grossman at all, but I'm hoping he can change my mind. He has no zip under his passes, he's just lobbing everything. But he doesn't usually throw like that. I don't know if he was nervous or something...which is weird for a locally televised preseason game, but that's sure what it looked like.
