I don't see the point? That was the Cardinals. I'm talking about the Cubs. Show me one Hendry "rehab project" that has panned out. And please don't bring up Ryan Dempster who was a flash in the pan. And as I stated I have nothing against a reclamation project as long as there is a contingency plan. Well how about first we list the Hendry rehab projects and their relative success, because they really haven't been that many I don't believe..... Ryan Dempster - moderate success until recently Wade Miller - still unknown Chad Fox - Never could recover...I believe he cost around $600k, but I could be wrong on that So if Miller pans out at all, I'd call it 2 of 3, and it wasn't like Chad Fox was counted on, or cost a lot. If anyone remembers more, please let me know...I'm not trying to ignore anything for arguments sake... Oh and please don't bring up Wood and Prior...they were injured while playing for the Cubs, and thus don't count as "reclamation projects".
