Just build it there with the bleachers up against the skyline. It would look amazing. Something about Wrigley bleachers and skyscrapers skyline doesn't seem to sit right with me. I'd have to see it to be sure though. If its apartments and condos, depending on the look of them (are they really tall, made of brick/stone or steel) I could totally go for it. quick and dirty (sorry for the black&white, but it's tough to find a skyline photo from the vantage point of that neighborhood) http://www.simleaguebaseball.com/derwood/wrigleycabrini.jpg Yea, tha's pretty much it. So awesome. Well yeah, except of course it wouldn't be "Wrigley"...it'd be a newer stadium, but for point of reference it works. Chicago's skline as a background is fantastic. I understand why people don't want the Cubs to move...it would have a massive effect on the local area if the Cubs moved, and much of the fan base would be disillusioned, but Wrigley would still be there, and could be used for exhibition games, or other events so as far as the historical nature of things, it would still be present. I know there's a whole freaking lot of detail that I'm not considering here, but my point is that I'm not so attached to Wrigley that I would be opposed to this idea were it to be feasible. All that said, I don't see it happening.
