  1. Rizzo is so so good at pretty much everything in baseball
  2. I guess i will weigh in, but i think (hope?) it won't really move the needle much on the topic. As a whole, I don't care if any athlete (or even anyone) cheats on their significant other. I have known/suspected friends of doing that before, but it's not my business. I don't like it, but I don't know what is going on with their relationship. Hell, I don't believe I've ever "cheated" on anyone I was with because it was always while we were "on a break" (i.e., not together - *insert Friends reference*) but there is some grey area there I'm sure. Anyway, I just kind of assume it's a pretty typical thing with athletes and famous people in general. Again, you can certainly judge and that is fine, but I try not to insert my feelings when I don't have any clue what is going on in his/her relationship. The DV is, of course, a completely different story. I hope it's not true but I will be judging him on that in the interim and I doubt we will ever know the truth and so maybe I'll never look at him the same again. That sucks if it is all untrue, but it is what it is. But if it came out tomorrow that Zobrist cheated on his wife it wouldn't make me like him - as a baseball player - any less. For all I know their significant other could have been sleeping around during the whole time. In short, I just don't care about other people's love lives. Let them figure it out. If it's someone close to you and you know the situation and they are being hurt then that is one thing. But, if it's from a typical "outsider" point of view I just look the other way. I have too much horsefeathers going on in my own life to care about some random person's love life.

  9. FWIW those 2017 STH boxes are going for like 125-500 dollars on eBay
  10. good grief that was the worst pitch of the AB and baez bails him out
  11. [tweet] [/tweet]
  12. not to start "this" again, but by his own volition Ross has stated that he would sometimes ride the guys (namely KB and Rizzo based on the interview) hard sometimes. I don't think it was anything that caused any kind of turmoil, but I think he *could* be a bit of an "old man/old school* teammate but I think it was good to have a mixture of both those types of mentalities (to some degree - I'm not really into the old school/antiquated baseball mentality). Anyway, he has stated before that he would ride the guys some - not sure he or anyone else ever said it was over-the-top, though, so who knows.
  13. counterargument: we are playing the Padres for the Butler/Arrieta portion of that.
  14. i think that was the best AB in MLB history right there folks
  15. lol sean gallagher with the last 4 inning Cubs save. remember when his dad used to post here? (said to nobody in particular - just talking to the Internet)
