yeah sorry. i remember it was at home so that should have clued me in that it wasn't WS. To this day the moment when they won the WS to just go to WS is about neck and neck when they won the whole thing. maybe that's weird but i lost my mind just as much.

rational or not, if the cubs traded baez i would be clinically depressed and i'm already broke enough as it is so i don't want to have to go to a psychiatrist (again) in order to receive antidepressants. i love that guy so, so much. other than like zobrist or heyward i'd be pretty bummed if they traded anyone noteworthy (insert "is heyward noteworthy?" joke) on the roster. if they're moving a young guy i could live with happ or maybe even schwarber, i guess, but i'd not love it. i guess happ if the return is really good (and i'm sure it would have to be).

A friend of a friend of mine in LA works for Dancing with the Stars and talked to him yesterday apparently bc he’s in LA for to watch WS game(s). No clue if she will talk to him again but I can ask her to ask him if he’s interested in taking on a role like that (prob like 2 percent chance that actually happens - but believe I can trust this girl) #connected

Here's how I see it. Win tonight (big IF) and hit Kershaw tomorrow (bigger IF but did make some nice contact game one). LAD have two days to stew on how could not put away and only one day away from potential game 7. Nothing to lose. All to gain. Yep. on that note i'm taking an hour long nap. god help me in a decade when i'm 45. i will just have to wake up in the morning and watch highlights and take a nap after watching them i think I need less sleep as i get older. Eh, we just disagree. Call it meatball-y all you want; I think enough of a lineup can press/panic/get frustrated and it can impact them detrimentally. In the scope of a full season, yeah, not a big deal, but in the sample size of a short series it can hurt. It just happens sometimes; it's the terrible beauty of baseball. It is also, like we've both essentially said, something that they can snap out of from one game to the next. Hopefully we see that tonight. so, basically, baseball will be played and things will happen. which is essentially what david said
