I'm flying into O'hare tomorrow morning and staying at the W - Lakeshore. I was planning on just getting an uber from the airport but is there a better/easier/cheaper way? I don't care if it's a little more expensive for an uber if it's way more convenient, though.

re-watching the cubs 2016 postseason highlights video on youtube (21:38,highly recommend) and nothing has ever been more swag than dex homering and hearing the BANG off the video board in right field after the Miggy HR. I was already on cloud 9 and he just did that for shits and giggles

Maybe the have the money, have had and always were willing to spend the money, but ideally would like to move money and stay under LT restrictions bc that would be even better. They could just be doing this to save more money to address other roster issues (see: bullpen) on top of all of this. It’s smart to try to sign him for the lowest price possible. It’s just dumb to not sign him (or at least put out an offer that could)

I’m pretty damn sure he’s focusing on the character part of “leadership and character”. Considering, ya know, he covered up and protected a wife beater. That’s what I thought when i saw it on ESPN bottom line and that’s what I thought when I saw his post.

i hope he doesn't care at all. he clearly has some underlying issues in his life that he's hopefully addressing. wish him all the best and hope he gets the help he's seeking.

I just love that post for “artificially aged”. I’m going to start using that one when people at work tell me I look tired. Them: you look tired. You ok? Me: yeah, I’m ok. Think life just has artificially aged me a bit today.
