    Yeah I noticed that, where does he normally bat? I think he batted 4th against the Cubs when Rusch pitched last time. yeah I remember that now, brain stopped working for a sec.

    The more the Tribune stock falls, the more likely they are to sell the Cubs, right? :P Either that or they are more likely to spend less on the cubs :(

    I have lived in the Seattle area for a little while and I have had the opportunity to watch Felix and he is very special and is going to be the best pitcher in the game in a few years. Actually he has a shot to be as good as a anybody this year but I think he's going to be held in check a bit as they seem to not want to overwork him (imagine that) and he is young and is obviously going to have a few games that arent up to par. As far as the 300 wins, I dont know about that, it has a lot to do with the team and I dont know that they are ever going to be that type of team that win a bunch games year in and year out thus I dont see him doing that. As much as I love Z or Prior, I would still have to take Felix.

    Ron Santo may be you in the booth, but he is NOT me. He's awful, and I can't stand listening to him. He isnt the best at analysing a game, but he is the most entertaining to listen to. I use to put WGN on mute (back when Chip was announcing) and listen to Santo call the game while watching it. I can see your point though if radio is your only means to watch it then you dont always know whats going on...but you gotta love his enthusiasm.

    Whats the pitching rotation going to be to start off the year then? Zambrano-Cin Rusch (yikes)-Cin Maddux-Stl Marshall-Stl So really then Rusch's first 2 games are against the Reds and then a start against the Pirates. Well that makes me feel a little better about him, hopefully that is the rotation order to start the year then. Oh and when will Guzman be added as the 5th starter on the 15th right?

    wow thats pretty interesting, shows you why we aren't being overally productive in terms of position players making it in the pro's.

    sometimes you can look to much into stats and miss the fact that this guy can do a lot of things that isnt measured via stats, such as taking pitches, being able to get to get from 1st to 3rd when most cant, etc. Stats are a great tool in measuring a player, but sometimes you have to look beyond them...3 good leadoff guys are in the bottom 5, that should tell you something.

    Well like somone said the line didnt look to good, but he was throwing some good stuff. I think Guzman is ahead of him for the 5th starter.

    hmmm, never knew he had to throw it for interference, well lesson learned for Barrett.

    Yeah, good lineup today. Hopefully it is sooner rather than later that Murton hits 5th in the lineup. After Guzman's outing yesterday Ryu better have a strong showing to stay in the race for the 5th spot.

    Well once he starts showing half of Ryno's offensive skills he can play everyday.

    ... I know, but still you would think. But of course its Dusty and it is probably to much to ask for.

    I don't really think it's Murton people are questioning. good point, but you would think that Dusty would have a shred of common sense and let him play.

    to bad thats all he can do, whats his career BA and OBP? But I would still rather have his potential over Arroyo.
