A lot of that slg% is singles driven because he has a jesus christ like .485 babip. When that goes down, and it surely will, that slugging percentage will plummet unless he starts hitting the ball out of the park again. This is very simple guys, I don't know how you keep getting it wrong. Maybe it will, but the fact is Lee's been productive. And he's going to hit home runs again. This isn't the first April Lee's had where he hasn't been hitting homers. Last year he had 3 HR in just 44 april AB (.614 slg%) in 2005 he had 7 in 2004 he had 2, but was only hitting .233 in 2003 he had 4, but hit just .272 in 2002 he had 5, even though he was hitting just .221 The fact that he's making so much contact and is still not hitting home runs is a little disconcerting. I'm sure it will come back on eventually, but to what extent? This little power outage came after a wrist break, I know that correlation doesnt equal causation, but it still worries me.
