  1. Great defense again. Maybe Jim was onto something with the whole catch the ball thing
  2. Great range by Fukudome. He could go the rest of the year without a homerun and he'd still be worth that contract.
  3. Jordan was 6'6"....was he a SF? nope Pippen was 6'9"....was he a PF? nope there is no hard and fast rule about size per position That's the opposite of what I was saying. Those guys were big for the position they played. Beasley is possibly undersized for the position he's slated to play. Guys like Rodman and Brand get away with being a little short because they have great energy and aren't relied on for their offense or they have a relatively big body with better quickness than most guys that size. Beasley is an athletic guy with a much smaller build than Brand but great mobility. My only point was that he may not have the big body to score in the post that he's advertised to be, which is a concern for me when he may be the top pick in the draft. Therefore, I like picking Rose at the top of the draft better. Since when is Elton Brand not relied upon for his offense? I believe he was referring to Rodamn not being relied on for offense and Brand having a relatively big body with better quickness than most guys his size. And I most definitely agree, IMB! No matter who they get, they win. They went from Darrell Arthur to Derrick Rose or Michael Beasley. That's a franchise saver.
  4. all this hemming and hawing aside, I think you've got to take the potential superstar PG over the potential superstar PF.
  5. but we'd have to trade zambrano to make room for him
  6. i'm not even gonna read that article because i guarantee i will flip the f out
  7. is this a budhouse parody
  8. Wade and Rose would be a dominant backcourt for the 50 games a year Wade is on the court.
  9. anyone who drafted travis hafner is a moron. he looked like a corpse last year
  10. with his errors taken out how many runs has he given us
  11. since the signing, edmonds has sucked and pie has regressed. good job cubs
  12. and the readership of the North Central Oklahoma Star Picayune thanks you for your insight they would be so lucky
  13. so far Wood has had his best control of his career - by far. 3.47 ppa.
  14. Yeah, he got 2 runs. But he also basically allowed 2 runs. The blown HR in the first that he should've caught anyway, and the 9th inning catch (or lack thereof) 3 then. Cause they don't get the last one without him dropping a ball that most of us on here would have caught. most of the people at nsbb couldn't have caught that ball if you shipped it to them UPS. If you have played baseball at all before, I am thinking you catch that one. Apparently not, since Soriano has been playing baseball for about two decades.
  15. All he needs to do... ALL he needs to do, is catch a routine fly ball that he's caught 1,000 times before, and we're all celebrating. Yes, he hit the 2-run homer, but he also cost us the game, so that cancels out, don't you think? he lost it in the sun, it's not like someone handed it to him. it happens, it's just unfortunate that it happened when it did. go eat some sympathy food and take a break Of course it happens when YOUR SUNGLASSES ARE FLIPPED UP didn't they say his shades were down?

  18. god soto you son of a bitch didnt you see mcclouth hit the ball why cant you do that worthlesss
  19. Some of you are being incredibly stupid.
  20. The Coleman comparison will go away after his first year in the Pro's. Book it! Calling him a more rugged derrick coleman is a really high compliment.
  21. I saw Tskitishvilli play in an exhibition game against LA in OKC his rookie year. He didn't play much, but he did clang THREE separate warm up shots from the corner off of the side of the backboard. For the record, Beasley reminds me of Chris Webber with less handle/passing ability or a more rugged Derrick Coleman.
