  1. Every time Crow doesn't get drafted fills me with false hope
  2. the new reason to draft college players over high school players: The interviews. "Hey Eric, it's me Karl Ravech from ESPN's Baseball Tonight, how's it going?" "AHJFHKJFHKSJHKFJHZKHHJHKFSJHFKJSHKFJHKJSHFKJSHKFJSHKFJHSKK" "Hey Buster, how you feeling?" "Quite well, thank you. Very excited about this process, it's quite lovely"
  3. Lol, the giants draft Posey. No way in hell do they pay him. See you next year, Buster.
  4. hahaha Bud Selig can barely read the teleprompter. It gets worse every time he gets up to the podium.
  5. Karl Ravech just died a little bit inside during that interview.
  6. What the crap, I had a job interview during last year's draft too. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a47/madhops_42/1-2.jpg
  7. Oh man, I'm so excited. I had a job interview last year during the draft, so I couldn't watch it. Here's to Crow falling.
  8. our drafts are always terrible, so i'm hoping for hewitt, honestly.
  9. When I worked at Applebee's i gave a free queso to bill parcells and he told me that he was getting sick of T.O. and was thinking of getting out
  10. I've always been against drafting college relievers because their window is so narrow. You draft a starter and if he can't hack that, you give them a shot in the pen. How many college relievers get drafted and then converted to starters? I bet that number is pretty low.
  11. welcome aboard I changed my mind last night, but this just sealed the deal for me
  12. agreed I dont think ive ever been to WSI, so I went to check it out. First thread I saw? wtg guys
  13. someone remind Lou that marquis cant hit anymore
  14. Marquis makes me mad middling morosely on the mound
  15. Ironically, I think 200 pounds of gold is currently worth 2.6 million dollars
  16. It's only .290 since he became a cub, and off of a 16.1% LD%. You'd expect him to have 8.7 (Hits - HR). He has 9. oh crap, he's gonna crash back down to earth
  17. I was the pitcher in this scenario when I was a teenager. When I was 13 I could really ramp it up on the mound, but more velocity = worse control. I still remember the team we were playing, too - The Miners - I hit two or three kids and then later I hit one in the side of the knee. All of this was on accident, I might add, I just had no control. The last kid cried so hard that when he got up he had dirt streaked all over his face. Later, one got loose and flew over a kids' head. He just dropped his bat and walked back to the dugout before his third base coach intercepted him.
