  1. YEAH WELL THOSE DAYS ARE OVER, BITCHES. IM HERE TO STOCK UP ON PROSPECTS THAT WILL ULTIMATELY FAIL AND SET MY LINEUP OF SCRUBS EVERY DAY AND IM ALL OUTTA GUM
  2. Agreed. And I don't know that this is a good return. They just picked him 3rd overall LAST YEAR. Theyre going to trade a #3 pick for a pick likely in the 20s because the Colts are an 11 win team and playing in a weak conference. The Colts aren't an 11 win team They were last year, which is what I meant. Coming off 11 wins and playing in a weaker conference this year. When he was drafted in 2012 doesn't really matter. Presumably this front office prescribes to the theory that no rb is worth such a high pick, and they know they will suck for many years without a complete roster overhaul. I think it's a good move for both teams, and a good move for richardson. A RARE WIN-WIN-WIN. Colts get a presumably good back, and they're fighting to take over the afc after brady and manning retire. browns get good value for a RB and Richardson gets to play in an offense where the team can actually open the field up by throwing the ball.
  3. itt a bunch of eriks, happy to wallow in misery
  4. That's the vomit-inducing quote I'd seen prior that made me burn things. yikes. at least we can delete the tanaka thread now (or move it to "Real Team Discussions"). oh no what are we going to do without another no. 4 starter

  6. AFL with Bryant, Soler, and Almora Imb, if you mean after the AFL, he'll probably head home for the winter. I just said winter cause for some reason i had it in my head he wasn't going to the AFL. When does AFL season start?
  7. AFL with Bryant, Soler, and Almora god almighty
  8. Where is Baez headed this winter?
  9. How about Mack Brown to Nebraska, Bo Pelini to Texas, and Lane Kiffin gets tenured at USC? how about all three of them to hell
  10. http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/prospects/rankings/top-100-prospects/all-time/#2002 2. Prior 6. Cruz 40. Choi 45. Kelton 48. Hill 68. Jackson 80. Zambrano I still think Nic Jackson has a shot
  11. he'd be worth ***a flier***
  12. what a [expletive] week
  13. lmao i forgot about that scumbag todd graham
  14. if the players really hate these new rules so much, they're gonna have to figure out a way to stop killing people every week or it's just going to get worse. Brandon Meriweather did two helmet to helmets today, put one guy out of the game and then knocked himself unconscious on the second one. at a certain point it's not goodell's fault anymore
  15. lets not pretend i wont have sex with his sister
  16. the shocker in 2013, really?
  17. it's now on the table
  18. also im confused by this concept of playoff teams dropping people that they still own so if someone could explain that to me and also let me know how many of these godawful losers on my roster im supposed to keep that would be great
  19. i am looking forward to not understanding the rules for at least 7 months, thanks for having me
  20. Second team: SP Kyle Hendricks I dont know anything about Hendricks from a stuff perspective, but his results remind me of Sean Gallagher. Any reason to think he's better than that?
  21. Villanueva or Baez Yeah, Vitters will be moved this offseason. it's an interesting logjam, for sure. You've got to keep Bryant at 3B for as long as possible, and he'll be at AA before long, so Villanueva will have to move up. Baez will before long too, but he has to stay at short stop. I imagine Olt starts the year at 3B in AAA, and gets called up to the majors when baez and villanueva are ready for AAA.
  22. biggest surprise/ most improved: junior lake? I know the real surprise was that he did so well once called up, but still. biggest disappointment: I had hopes Soler would put together a monster second half after he got situated and instead we barely saw him. favorite long shot: Pineyro
  23. Very meh. I really like Deng, but there was almost no chance that the Bulls could have held onto him without overpaying by way too much relative to his age and talent level, so this is hardly a surprise. petition to rename him future new jersey net luol deng
  24. "picking nits" like laughing about spending 33 million dollars on a below replacement level pitcher. They did the equivalent of the cubs spending spree that got them into all that trouble in the first place, just on a grander scale. It's worked so far for 4/5ths of a season but lets not pretend there's not a pretty good chance they regret some of this [expletive] really soon
  25. He's such a big dude, it seems unfathomable that he would be such a pierre at a plate for so long.
