  1. well it should be hey the payroll is going to plummet thank god our front office is being proactive about the situation they're in
  2. http://northsidebaseball.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=57339&start=4225 he made a second account to pretend to be another person to make fun of himself or something. it was great.
  3. redflash is so underrated as a great poster. He posted crazy college football stuff all the time, did that erik thing where he'd try and burn you with some iceburn that never quite hit the mark, and his grammar was just a step above HCCF's. he combined a lot of facets of some of our best, like if you took bum, hccf and erik and made one poster who only talked about college football. Why he got b& is even a better story. He was in some dicussion, i think it was about the nba, and made some post that people ripped or something, i can't remember the details. And out of nowhere, a poster starts defending him as this great poster and backing up his sources or whatever. But of course his syntax was exactly the same. so they ran the IP, came back as him, and they b& him. great story bro.
  4. god it's hysterical watching people [expletive] themselves over a 70-win team trading a 2-win player. HEAVEN FORBID
  5. im pretty sure a 26-year-old vogelbach would scorch the earth in the [expletive] cuban league for christ's sake.
  6. ive only read a couple things about jackson, and neither sounded game changing or anything. is it just because he's a nice kid like almora?
  7. id rather they win 162 games but david dejesus isn't going to help us do any of that
  8. Paul Sullivan has gone thorugh a few boxes of tissue over this news. Probably crying also hahahahhaa
  9. not what you're talking about, but i like this throw a lot (and features michael barrett!) found it! this one features pedro on the mound, and todd hundley (lol) getting gunned down at home. http://wapc.mlb.com/play/?content_id=20190423 how in the hell
  10. vogelbomb and bryant just went back-to-back and we have ENTERED THE BONE ZONE
  11. Alcantara hit his 30th double, bringing Baez up who strikes out on 3 pitches. (called strike) (swinging strike) (swinging strike)
  12. Bryant batting fifth again. Also, devoss is so weird. he walks so [expletive] much, another 73 walks in 372 at bats. too bad he can't do much if he does actually make contact.
  13. under pressure from bud to increase the public's acceptance of replay/challenges
  14. and then we use our final high first-round pick on tim beckham ffffffffffffff
  15. BRING BACK THE EXPOS
  16. It's regular scoring, just a weird roster setup. Here's my guess at how teams will do their keepers/what qbs will be available by my pick (10th round 1, 1st round 2) 1: Russell Wilson, Adrian Peterson 2: RG3, Andrew Luck 3: Aaron Rodgers, Marshawn Lynch 4: Drew Brees, Jamaal Charles 5: Matt Ryan, Lesean McCoy 6: Ray Rice, Dez 7: Peyton, AJ Green 8: Arian Foster, Flacco 9: Brady, Calvin Johnson So, assuming I keep Spiller and Richardson, these QBs will be available in the draft. 1: Russell Wilson, Adrian Peterson 2: RG3, Andrew Luck (Alfred Morris is a possibility) 3: Aaron Rodgers, Marshawn Lynch 4: Drew Brees, Jamaal Charles 5: Matt Ryan, Lesean McCoy 6: Ray Rice, Dez 7: Peyton, AJ Green 8: Arian Foster, Flacco 9: Brady, Calvin Johnson/or Doug Martin Newton, Kaepernick, Stafford, Romo, Manning, Roethlisberger, Vick, Dalton, Rivers, Bradford, Palmer, Schaub, Cutler, Alex Smith, Tannehill, Freeman. If everyone takes a QB in the first round (which I don’t think has ever happened) I end up with Carson Palmer and Schaub (ok im starting to agree with you.) I’m sure that Morris/whichever one of Megatron and Martin isn’t kept, will go in the first round, which would leave Dalton, Rivers and Bradford available for me to take. Ehh, I think you’re right. It’s probably worth it on the offchance I can end up with Cam, Spiller, Martin/Morris/Johnson, one of the remaining QBs.
  17. You don't think im kind of marginalizing both positions by not just committing to one? I can't shake the idea that I could have a dominant run game+at least an average QB roster vs. an average run game and slightly above average QB roster (or great QBs+abysmal RBs)
  18. You and imb road tripping to football mecca for the OU/ND game? just because andy went there for his honeymoon does not make it a mecca
  19. MY GOD http://wapc.mlb.com/play/?content_id=29807715&partnerId=as_mlb_20130818_10925174&topic_id=11493214
  20. guys, guys, guys, you're not looking at this clearly. just think about how awesome it's going to be to hear Hawk scream "DAGGUM RIGHT WE'RE GONNA PLAY THIS GAME UNDER PROTEST" while arguing about a computer-generated overturn of an out call or something
  21. he needs to be batting 2nd and vogelbach needs to be batting third, no excuse to have the best hitting prospect on the team (maybe in the organization) all the way down at frigging fifth.
  22. Brett Jackson is hitting .173 in AA.
  23. whats funny about that statement is that alfaro isn't even a consensus #GUY
