  1. there isn't a gif on the internet that can accurately sum up how I feel about this.
  2. Bryant looks so skinny in all his pictures. I never read any evaluators discuss the fact that he could presumably add a lot of bulk to his frame, but it looks like he could.
  3. As a Heyward fantasy team owner, I would say he's back to the 'setback' part of his career, though he's been much better lately. be sure and credit @AngryAndyR
  4. 15 prospects were ranked ahead of Baez before the season started. By midseason, that list was down to 9 Only Yelich has graduated from that list. Buxton, Sano, Bogaerts and Bradley are definitely still ahead of him. Taveras likely will be since they will give him one injury-season freebie. Lindor and Walker are 50/50 shots to be above Baez. I think he's surpassed Correa at this point, unless Correa gets promoted to High-A soon and continues what he's doing at Quad City. I know BA loves Johnathon Gray, who I could see jumping Baez if he gets called to AA for the playoffs and pitches well. And with how much Callis loves Kris Bryant, he might jump him too if he blows Daytona out of the WATER THAT HAS ACCUMULATED FROM THE TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS THERE BY THE WAY [expletive] YOU DAYTONA. So anyway, I'm guessing Baez stays in the top 10.
  5. I freaking started the concept of the message board farm report back in the day. I'm Makaveli's offspring, I'm the king of New York King of the Coast, one hand, I juggle them both
  6. the minors are so interesting at the moment that goony and abuck are doing gamethread [expletive] in here. this is quite the moment in nsbb history
  7. so ... rizzo without the defense
  8. thats great. Looks like he tried to put the breaks on the throw and the ball got out anyway. I do that in softball about once a game.
  9. Vogelbach is on his way to Daytona, too, according to ******twitter reports*******
  10. holy [expletive] you aren't kidding I've never seen anything like it, maybe Sheffield has anyone ever thrown him a curveball? he might break himself in half
  11. Almora has the same concerns. I dont think Miami would even consider it, but if they would take almora+soler, you gotta do it. Stanton is already more than Soler ever will be and you can just sign Ellsbury or choo in the offseason and lock up CF for a while
  12. holy [expletive] you aren't kidding
  13. man i hope he shreds this league
  14. Cano Choo Abreu ellsbury whoever the last guy is
  15. Wont it be a tough sell though? we can offer the guy the most money, but he's in his late 20s and wants to play now. I mean, offer him whatever he wants, but he still has to accept the deal. Someone will offer him a lot of money and an immediate spot in the lineup.
  16. http://www.vivaelbirdos.com/2013/1/17/3884810/jose-abreu-cuba-baseball-stats He also had 3 HR and a 1.145 OPS in 25 ABs in the WBC this year. http://www.whiteboardbusiness.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/rod_tidwell.jpg
  17. Just saw that too. [expletive] it, sign him, who cares.
  18. So Jose Abreu, he of the nearly 2.000 OPS cuban baseball season, has defected according to Jonah Keri. I haven't seen any numbers on him since that bizarre 2010 or 2011 season or whatever it was. Is he still megahyped?
  19. god, stanton's age 20 AA season was monstrous. if we had a guy putting up numbers like that, i probably wouldnt be able to contain myself. The good news comparison wise is that it was his second go through the league. It will be interesting to see what javy does next year, assuming he's in AA again. because, he's a year older than giancarlo was, but his first pass in AA has been better than Stanton's first run was.
  20. If Stanton didn't seem so fragile, I would be willing to do Javy+almora or soler for him. But right now, no way. Plus, we've seemingly hitched our wagons to these four guys ... might as well ride it out at this point.
  21. Brockmeyer? One of the few front to back wipers in the game.
  22. maples doing it again so far
  23. hahahhahahahahhahahhhahahha
