  1. youre playing with fire unnamed aa pitcher
  2. there are very few scenarios where i feel like it's a good idea to pitch to baez right now, so his BB rate should spike this month
  3. if he went to st louis he'd have a neck tattoo and a .350 batting average by september
  4. if i found out tomorrow that castro died overnight, i'd probably be relieved
  5. Chipper. Miggy, after a few years at first. successfully
  6. Here's an obsessive "im bored on Saturday" update for you. I think team 2 is FAR superior to either team one or team three. I ran three different projections, changing up my keepers each time (and projecting the other 9 teams's keepers) and this is what I ended up with Scenario 1: Keeping Cam/Spiller This played out interestingly, because despite keeping both an elite QB and an elite RB, I feel like my depth at both positions sucks. ESPN projected this team to finish in third. QB: Cam QB: Palmer RB: Spiller RB: Reggie Bush TE: Jordan Cameron WR/TE: Brandon Marshall WR/TE: Randall Cobb WR/TE: Victor Cruz QB3: Bradford RB3: Daryl Richardson RB4: Michael Bush WR4: Torrey Smith WR5: Tavon Austin Scenario 2: Keeping Spiller/Richardson I end up with the same WR group, bland QBs, but pretty elite RBs. ESPN projected this team to finish in first. QB: Eli QB: Dalton RB: Spiller RB: Richardson TE: Housler WR/TE: Brandon Marshall WR/TE: Randall Cobb WR/TE: Cruz QB3: Bradford RB3: Sproles RB4: Daryl Richardson WR4: Decker WR5: Kenny Britt Scenario 3: Keeping Cam/Kaepernick. In this scenario, I don’t have to worry about QBs at all until the late rounds, and can focus on RB/RB early or RB/WR. ESPN projects this team to finish in 2nd place. QB: Cam QB: Kaepernick RB: Forte RB: Reggie Bush TE: Jordan Cameron WR/TE: Brandon Marshall WR/TE: Randall Cobb WR/TE: Victor Cruz QB3: Bradford RB3: Daryl Richardson RB4: Michael Bush WR4: Torrey Smith WR5: Tavon Austin
  7. I have no idea if any of those Lacy-tier backs are worth anything. Is David Wilson the starter in NY? Lacy might be third string for christ's sake. Daryl Richardson of the Rams? Is Deangelo Williams worth a [expletive]? There's like 7 RBs I like and then a bunch of turds out there
  8. I just worry that if baez and bryant both make it, if we shift them down the spectrum for [expletive] castro, we'll never shift them back up. Has anyone ever gone from LF to 3B successfully? Or 3B to SS? I know the orioles are talking about doing it with machado, but A.) they haven't yet and B.) he's otherworldly on defense in the first place. I guess I just dream of this surplus of production from the left side of the infield because that would be almost an unfathomable bonus.
  9. Im in a long running fantasy league that lets you keep 2 players each offseason. The league has a weird roster breakdown and I'm really confused on which two players to keep. The details: It's a 10-man league. You start 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 1 TE and 3 TE/WR each week. With 10 teams, you almost have to have two good starting QBs to compete. Here's my options Cam Newton, Matthew Stafford, Colin Kaepernick CJ Spiller, Trent Richardson WILDCARD Jimmy Graham My plan early in the offseason was to keep Cam and Spiller, thinking that you almost have to keep a QB to ensure you get two strong ones. And Spiller should have a monster year, and obviously having at least one stud RB is a huge help with how depleted RB is this year. But after a few mocks, it seems like if you don't take 2 RBs with your first two picks, you end up with a [expletive] show at the position. You almost have to have a late first round pick to ensure you get a good RB2 on the snake. It's a mess. So now I don't know what to do - my first instinct is to stick with the cam, spiller idea (I won last year so I have the last pick of the first round and should be able to get a good QB2) and just hope to hit on a RB late.
  10. every time i think about baez at third, im like, well when bryant comes up, you can't shift a guy back UP the defensive spectrum unless he's machado-good, right? (i also think about all those "bobby hill is our second basemen for the next decade" so hush) i really think castro gets traded
  11. maybe then i could finally take soriano-jump-aramis-homer.jpg off my phone
  12. WHO NEEDS PORN IN THEIR LIVES WHEN VIDEOS LIKE THIS EXIST
  13. HE JUMPED IN THE AIR AND SLAM DUNKED THE HELMET JESUS CHRIST COULD YOU MAKE ME LOVE YOU MORE
  14. Has he been ejected yet
  15. Every time I try and temper myself and say "well he's just riding a hot streak right now and things will trend down at some point" (and they will) it's very exciting that he's hitting the [expletive] out of the ball AND improving patience/pitch selection and apparently defense.
  16. The way the camera jerks there at the end makes think he hit that one real far
  17. I mean, how good can he be? This is mindbending
  18. You guys like to make fun of some of our dumber posters for having a lack of self-awareness, but this one's a top-10 of all-time. And again
  19. I bet you a million internet dollars that this thread would be two pages shorter if you had just said that up front instead of piggy backing on top of arguments saying things that were far more polarizing. I said it several times in the last 10 pages. It gets overlooked because it's less polarizing. Ideally, the last two pages would still exist but with higher-quality posting. And then someone says "it would be if you stopped posting" and then you say "my opinion being different than yours doesn't make it worse," predictably making you out a victim while even more predictably not being about anything.
  20. There have been some idiotic posts on this page. We agree on that much. Any other baseball things you'd like go be wrong about again or are we on the deflection phase of your flood of stupidity
  21. No you see I was being sarcastic because your post was idiotic
  22. Yeah this team was Ernesto frieri from competing for the World Series.
  23. Well then by all means lets buy ... Who again?
  24. Epstein has said lots of things over the past two years (i.e. "building on dual fronts", "every season is sacred", etc.). Do you not see how these things (your response and what you responded to) go hand in hand? Look who you are talking to. "Hey, Bum, you know nacho cheese isn't magically created in a machine??"
