  1. i know you don't really believe in what you post when you say something like this, that is understated and not filled with a bunch of over the top absurdity
  2. the point was that everyone knew what he was saying, but pretended that it was some crazy nonsense they just couldn't grasp so they could whine about how bad the cubs are some more.
  3. i kind of skimmed through it, but PFF was talking about how he SHREDS the blitz and Seattle knew this and rushed 4 most of their game; i didn't really watch enough of today's game to see if Indy did that too also, they have pretty putrid receivers after Crabtree, Manningham, V Davis (all out today) edit: looking at the box score, Bradshaw with 5 YPC and TRich with just 2.7 YPC (long of 7! on 13 carries)...does TRich actually just suck? I think so, yes. You have undrafted guys like joique bell having more success in a spot start than Richardson has ever had.
  4. Wow, I just Realized how close we are to basketball.
  5. to be fair, i should have said they havent "been that bad" and we've played nobodies, so who knows
  6. they're not that bad, really. i can't believe i just said that.
  7. all the analogies were pointless and made it kind of hard to follow, but all he was saying was that he figured the team would keep stockpiling prospects and moveable veterans while they waited for opportunities to move Soriano/Zambrano/whatever. but of course it just becomes a big [expletive] of everyone trying to prove who is made the most miserable by the cubs shitty seasons
  8. So yeah, does Kaepernick actually just suck? I know there's not much on that team, but man, 11-24 against Indy.
  9. they should actually wear slacks that would be cool
  10. yes
  11. it's obvious what the guy was talking about, you idiots, quit being so obtuse
  12. I just don't think we're a match unless A.) they want at least one of our top 4 guys and B.) we're willing to give to give up at least one. We can throw all the league average SPs and toolsy outfielders at them that we can find, but in the long run five 1-win players don't equal one 5-win player. I know that's not what you were saying exactly, but you know what i mean.
  13. I dont care how they value Arrieta or what they think about Lake, they aren't trading an all star OF for a guy with two good months and a 1.4 career whip pitcher. We're going to have to bleed a little.
  14. they're not trading cargo for a throw in from the scott feldman trade and junior lake. Soler or Almora would have to go and the rockies would for sure demand two of the top 4
  15. Rose doesn't want to recruit another player because he thinks it means he has to take a test for him and pay him

  17. YEAH WELL THOSE DAYS ARE OVER, BITCHES. IM HERE TO STOCK UP ON PROSPECTS THAT WILL ULTIMATELY FAIL AND SET MY LINEUP OF SCRUBS EVERY DAY AND IM ALL OUTTA GUM
  18. Agreed. And I don't know that this is a good return. They just picked him 3rd overall LAST YEAR. Theyre going to trade a #3 pick for a pick likely in the 20s because the Colts are an 11 win team and playing in a weak conference. The Colts aren't an 11 win team They were last year, which is what I meant. Coming off 11 wins and playing in a weaker conference this year. When he was drafted in 2012 doesn't really matter. Presumably this front office prescribes to the theory that no rb is worth such a high pick, and they know they will suck for many years without a complete roster overhaul. I think it's a good move for both teams, and a good move for richardson. A RARE WIN-WIN-WIN. Colts get a presumably good back, and they're fighting to take over the afc after brady and manning retire. browns get good value for a RB and Richardson gets to play in an offense where the team can actually open the field up by throwing the ball.
  19. itt a bunch of eriks, happy to wallow in misery
  20. That's the vomit-inducing quote I'd seen prior that made me burn things. yikes. at least we can delete the tanaka thread now (or move it to "Real Team Discussions"). oh no what are we going to do without another no. 4 starter

  22. AFL with Bryant, Soler, and Almora Imb, if you mean after the AFL, he'll probably head home for the winter. I just said winter cause for some reason i had it in my head he wasn't going to the AFL. When does AFL season start?
  23. AFL with Bryant, Soler, and Almora god almighty
  24. Where is Baez headed this winter?
  25. How about Mack Brown to Nebraska, Bo Pelini to Texas, and Lane Kiffin gets tenured at USC? how about all three of them to hell
