    woah woah woah, the only 6 WAR RF in all of baseball last year were Mookie and Eaton, so I think that's not likely. Also I just learned that Heyward was worth more WAR than Jose Bautista last year.

    The chance that Rodon is just no good, and at least one of Gilotio, Lopez, or Kopech are injured is so high that i'm just planning to delight in their fans' tears.

    Eaton is really good but so much of it comes from being a good RF, and he's a little fragile. So either he moves to CF and loses value or Bryce does.

    If they are really after Otani or Harper, this is the right move. I have loved Jansen for years but $90-$100 million for a closer just sounds like something you look back on and go "oh yeah that was dumb." Part of the reason we won so many games last year was because our SP was awesome, and this is likely the last year or Arrieta, so it makes sense to me to not to go into the season with a questionable pen.

    The Angels don't need to trade Trout, they need to draft better and supplement their roster with better smallish deals they cannot do at the moment because their drafts are all terrible and they have nothing to trade.

    underrated favorite of mine was "Cheesehead Cubs Fan." he had some weird meltdown when i made fun of his sig, which was a picture of some sports car photoshopped over a cubs logo. Oh and it had all the car's specs typed out on the sig.

    If Contreras OPSs .877 and those bullpen numbers hold up, the league may have to disband the Cubs for the good of the sport. *plugs numbers into spreadsheet* "Bill I have here that the cubs are expected to win 175 games next year?"

    Odorizzi is a FA after 2019, Bauer after 2020. Bauer has pedigree and offers TOR upside while Odorizzi I think has reached his ceiling as a solid MOR starter but has a safer floor, imo. There's definitely more volatility and uncertainty with Bauer. To the point a move to the bullpen may be the best use of him/his stuff in the future. I still prefer Bauer. I guess I just see Bauer as being a worse pitcher, so the additional year of a bad pitcher doesn't really speak to me.

    I'm having a hard time (without doing any research) liking Bauer better than Odorizzi. How much team control does odorizzi have?
