Kolb can throw in the upper 90's. I think the problem was thats what he was trying to do everytime he pitched. He should have stayed with his 90-93mph fastball with movement. I thought Kolb was a sinker ball type pitcher? Kolb always had the ability to throw in the upper 90's, but thats when he ran into trouble. He had his most success when he did throw that sinker ball pitch in the low 90's.

BAA Zambrano .224 Sheets .258 Zambrano gives up more walks but when he is on, he is much better than sheets Ben Sheets is a stud. He strikes out more than Zambrano and allows a Greg Maddux-prime esque walk rate. He's simply the second best pitcher in the game if healthy. He might even be as good as Santana. That is a very bold statement. Ben Sheets is one of those rare power pitchers with command of the strikezone, but to say he is the second best pitcher in baseball when healthy is a little over board.

Hardy probably is going to be a future number 2 hitter with his contact abilities. He probably could hit you 15-20HR and bat around .300 year after year. He is going to be a really solid ss for years to come.

I think I would prefer ARods next 5 yrs to Z's, but that is just me. I think it is more likely that Z will break down and not be worth the money he is likely to command. I agree, especially if the other pitchers do well. Same here. Nobody should be "untouchable" on this team right now. Carlos Zambrano is an "untouchable" in my books.
